FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 2

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

Just kidding. The door is ajar from when Lalli nyoomed out of it. There is a head of silver hair which can just been seeing lying in the common area of the room. This has the same energy as when Goofy got nailed by the rock.]

Wait what? [he's going to let the others go check on luke since that's now too many people but what the fuck someone better update them!!!]

[THERE HE IS Lalli just looks to Caleb and Bradley, like they can fix this.

Necromancy is totally in Caleb's skillset right?]

[He's immediately going to check Luke's neck. Pulse? How is it? Weak? Strong?]

[Well, Bradley seems to have that so he's not going to crowd Luke, just. . . going to open a window just in case and then wait worriedly?

Funnily enough he does have the ability to raise the dead but I sense it would take a lot of vouchers.]

[Luke is just chilling face-down on the floor by a desk, mostly on the rug that's in the common area. The desk chair is turned over, too. He has a completely different flower crown on his head, and somehow it managed not to fall off.

When Bradley feels for a pulse, he gets the first kick of one before Luke starts stirring. He lifts his head and blinks through the fringe. HELLO?]

[Oh good.

Lalli, relieved, will turn and call back to everyone waiting patiently for an answer.]

It's okay! He's not dead!

[battling]

What happened? Did ya faint or somethin'?

[Oh good, he's alive and breathing. He pats Luke's head and doesn't get up just yet.]

How're ya feelin'?

[Quietly to Lalli while Bradley tends to Luke - ]

. . . Something odd happened to Chad on Monday. By any chance were you discussing the script with him?

[silentscout]

[He has to think for a moment.]

Not specifically? we were talking about tasks, and then he suddenly grabbed his head like he had a headache. And then he said some stuff that didn't really make sense. He said the name Sora, and then that he woke up and something's not real, and his name's not Luke. And something about the first weekend? But he didn't finish that sentence.

I... guess I did.

[How did he get on the floor? This is familiar. He carefully pushes himself up so he can turn and sit down.

He touches his forehead.]

. . . Ah. With Chad, he also had a headache. His eyes changed color and he began confused, and started arguing with himself. He said he didn't want to lose to this, and that we might be on the right path.

[So, hmm.]

Then when he came to, he did not believe a word of it, and said it was probably "a trick of the light." We may need to be careful when talking to them, ja? Make sure we don't hurt them.

D'ya remember anythin' before ya fainted?

[He stands up and gently pats his head.]

[He reaches up to touch the flower crown. Sorry, Lalli.]

We were talking, and then I woke up on the floor.

Hmm...

[He's hearing what the other two are talking about but. Let's not press that right now.]

Maybe ya should sit down for a while? Just t' make sure you ain't about to faint again.

[Suddenly, he's deaf. No, he will look at the other two like ???? basically. That doesn't make any sense, lol.]

I still have a lot to do, but... I'll take it easy.

[Wow, he just scared everyone, huh.]

Sorry. [To all of them. But to Lalli:] I didn't mean to worry you.

[battling]

Good choice.

[Pat pat.

A short pause.]

Sometimes ya scare people without really meanin' to. 's part of life. Take care of yerself, okay?

[ Sometime before mini-event occurred, anyone inside the dorm would have heard a loud sound. Huh. Weird. Carry on. ]

[Oh. Oh no.]

What color did his eyes turn?

Red.

Whoa, whoa, hang on. What's with that attitude? You're so young, have a little confidence.

...I didn't see if Luke's eyes changed colors. But red isn't a good color for eyes to turn, where I'm from.
