FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 2

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

This sounds like they came up with it in about five minutes. It's supposed to be the reason they brought all of us here, but they didn't bother naming anything first?

Not sure. I guess I could write it down. I tried taking pictures on my phone but those didn't show up either.

...I could try, if I had that power back. But I think requests regarding powers that deal with death or spirits specifically won't go through, even if you have a number of vouchers for it.

I dunno if I would call Principal Bear a Hot Bear.

This whole thing being bad entertainment isn't entirely out of the question, but the fact is this isn't normal television in any way even if that's true. It doesn't help us out much except as proof that the dorm heads have been messed with.

It'd at least explain the seasons passing so quickly, though, if this whole thing is an insane, all powerful version of a TV set.

[He uses two fingers to flick it across the room, and Kissa is IMMEDIATELY zooming after it. Where was she hiding? Who knows. But now she has zoomies.]

Definitely not out of the question. I've never seen a television show, exactly. But there are a lot of dangerous entities that will do very stupid things for entertainment.

And why it's going to be different every time. Can't reuse the same concept two weeks in a row.

I'd say that's more your speed, mister soccer captain.

Yeah. It makes their insistence that everything is normal make a lot more sense. I don't think they think they're actors so much as they think this is real life, but somebody else sees them as actors.

Three. Chad said if anybody wants a copy they have to buy it themselves.

It's like movies, but broken up over a lot longer.

So let me get it straight - this script just turned up in the files, and Chad started offering to sell it?

If this is a TV show, is it better to play along or to try and break it?

But wouldn't they know that a looping campus and 40 people who are yelling about how they're not supposed to be here isn't right?

Sounds pretty nice. We kind of celebrate the same way, but there's other stuff too. Christmas markets and light displays and stuff like that.

Having a tree could be cool. [get people's mind off of stuff.]

And if we're the supporting cast, it's a lot easier to write us off of the show when we're no longer needed.
