...the first solution was to try to reboot the Digital World. We thought that by doing that, it would purge the infection entirely, even at the risk of losing everything including our partners' memories. The reboot worked, but Meicoomon still remembered. The infection was still there.
So...she evolved as a way to defend herself. And things got worse. We started talking about other options, and the option we had to settle on was destroying her ourselves. [which isn't great.] We hesitated too long. She became Ordinemon somehow...[...] I don't know exactly what was wrong. Something happened, and Earth was in danger. But we knew the only way to end it was to end her. She wasn't herself anymore, but Meicoomon was still in there somehow. Ordinemon had grown too powerful and out of control...we didn't have another choice.
