You said the principal gave you guys a summary. Can I ask exactly what he told you?

Nothing detailed. I got more info from Mollymauk.

But the summary stated that Hiyori died, and so a trial was held according to school tradition, based off an incident in the far past. Kaoruko was confirmed to be his killer, so expulsion commenced. Otome was chosen as the other party involved.

That about summarizes it, yeah. Has anyone ever explained why it's school tradition for a bunch of random people to solve a murder and execute someone?

No. Then again, any incident that involved bloodshed isn't one that any school would want to be made public info. If it's been buried with time, I doubt it'd be easy to find details.

Why would a school library have that kind of info...? You'd have better luck with archives that don't belong to the school.

I wouldn't know. Ask someone who specializes in journalism, or something to that effect.

Have you ever tried talking to people around here? It's not always effective. [frowns.] ...there isn't any way to use our vouchers for that kind of thing, right? Like to summon information or something.

There's probably certain kinds of information that you can exchange vouchers for. I'd have to check, though.
