maybe but yeah. they're meant to see distortions...koushiro said they can see where mass amounts of data gather together which is likely where digimon would be able to come through a portal from the digital world to earth knowing where the distortions are helps us know the access points so we can go fight back they were forming in the digital world for a while before appearing on earth i don't know if it would mean anything here but it'd be dumb not to check all of our options and even if it was a waste, you'd get the vouchers anyway

people that are cursed during the week end up outside because they fit into the setting more than the rest of us. like a glitch. that's why the curses sometimes don't break until friday or, people are chosen by someone or something else to leave them vulnerable out there i don't know about dimitri or sieghart but both catra and sagihara were cursed to be really into school spirit and not want to leave the school, and they both woke up outside on a friday or. would have. if someone didn't move sagihara and kon back inside but it's all just a stupid theory that might not even be right, and even if it is it doesn't tell us anything
