But the noises we heard, and the fact that all of this coincided with a murder happening the same night? Pretty damn unusual, I'd hope.

I'm not saying you're lying or necessarily mistaken, but it's not something to immediately jump to conclusions from either.

She was expelled to the student conduct office, according to what I've been told. Why are you so convinced she's dead?

Sure looked to me like she got expelled to an early grave.

Ask anyone from the dorms. We all saw it with our own eyes.

Did you see her die, specifically? No one's been able to confirm that, from what I've been told.

She took a lethal fall. There's no way she survived.

I mean, what, do you think someone pulled some elaborate magic trick to make it look like she died? Is that how expulsion works in this school?

Not everything works according to the laws of your world.
I've been told by the principal she was expelled. You're telling me she died. Two conflicting stories, but neither of you has conclusive proof.

It's not my word against the principal's, it's everyone's. If he's the only one claiming otherwise, doesn't that make his story the suspicious one?

If you don't believe me, just go ahead and try to contact her.

Not necessarily. It means that you don't necessarily understand what you saw.
How? If she's been expelled, her school email would be disabled and it's not as if I'd have access to her personal info.

Given that it's dealing with construction, students can't go there as they please. Even I'd have to get permission to drop by, but I can't promise when it'll be granted.
