[Well, he opens his mouth to reply, but gets hit by something he hasn't ever experienced before.
The tension is horrendous considering what he is looking at is a mutated glob of something that
can't
be human.
When he comes back to his wits, his fingers are all curled into whatever pillow or blanket he can touch. His heart is racing a mile a minute.
And he's jerked his head up so fast he ends up cracking it on the bottom of the bed.]
