[After a few minutes, he wanders into the common room. It sounds like he came from outside rather than upstairs.]

Kissa is free to roam, but she does chirp curiously when Luke walks in. She'll probably recognize his smell and go right over to him.]

She's well-behaved, so don't worry.

Oh good, I was hoping you'd see.
When I looked into the ways we can help people get what they desire, these are the roadblocks we ran into.
So while it's possible to stay awake at night, you'd have to win Luke's auction in order to do so.
Though you don't have to offer only Vouchers - I'm sure he can be convinced with other sentiments.
Just don't tell him that it's your bid, or else you'll lose your chance entirely.
It's not perfect, but it's the only way we could offer these options to people at all.

[It's going to be a bit before he answers. Mostly because he's actually listening to what she's saying and taking the time to try and understand it.]

Did that many of us ask about it that we have to do it this way?

[The door is partially open, so Lalli is free to walk right on it! Rude!

The third floor turns out to be a studio room, sectioned into a mini kitchen, a common area with a half wall for a bed, and a bathroom. The room itself follows the same architectural pattern the student dorms do, done in the same colors of Fall Dorm. Mounted on the wall over the couch is a strange sword.

Luke has turned around to glance at Lalli from a simple desk and chair on one side of the common area. Some books and a laptop are opened in front of him. Above the desk behind him is a dual dry-erase and corkboard. There are several pictures on the corkboard. One is of a very young, silver-haired boy squatting beside two other children: a brown-haired boy holding up the peace sign, and a red-haired girl smiling happily on a beach. There's a picture of Fall Dorm posing with a cardboard cut out of Claude. And there's a picture of the (hopefully) decorate Christmas tree.

Beside the desk in the corner is a baseball equipment bag with a varsity jacket thrown over it.]

[Lalli has a flower crown in his hands. It's one of the ones he made with Nier earlier. And unless Luke dodges or tells Lalli not to do it, Lalli's going to walk over to drop it onto Luke's head.]

[The door is shut, but Lalli can hear someone move inside. And after a few seconds, the door opens. Luke is in a pair of jeans, and this shirt.

He shouldn't be surprised about Lalli visiting, but he still is. He steps back to give Lalli space to come in.]

[He steps in, and then he pulls something out of his pocket. It's a bag of cherries! He definitely went and got some from the orchard, and he had the foresight to put them in a container instead of just having pocket cherries.

This bag is offered to Riku.]

That I tried to jump on Beau and I could have hurt her?

And that I didn't find who had done that effect to Mabel.

[Is this even going to matter? Is Lalli going to be sitting outside his door?]

Okay.

[Lalli will absolutely be sitting outside of his door. But he won't go in until Luke comes back, like he said.

...he might have nodded off, sitting there by the door.]

week 4, tues

[It takes a minute, but he comes to open the door.

Except, as soon as he sees it's Lalli, he shoves his hand out to push the other back.] --Wait! Hold on. [He hastily shuts the door right in poor Lalli's face.]

Stay right there!

[WAIT, HE WASN'T READY. WHY DOES LALLI NOT TEXT HIM, AAAAA. Lalli can hear him stomping quickly--back and forth in the room?]

[I'm fucking crying at this. Riku you disaster.

Lalli does stay right there though. Standing at the door, about a step back from where he had been moments before. Listening to what is going on in the room. Just what is he even up to? Lalli is tempted to ask, but instead he just waits. 'Stay right there', he had been told, so he'll do just that.

If emotions can be felt through the door, Lalli's are a bunch of question marks right now.]

I can meet you outside?

[He'll wait outside this time, and he has a couple of these in his hands too.]

It'd be 9, so I can give it to you for 7.

It's levitation. It only works on two things, but you have to be touching whatever you're trying to levitation. It only works for 1 minute, too. Every 24 hours.

So I could touch both beds and get them down from the roof at least? And I would float with them? Then we could move them back into the dorms if the time runs out.

[He can think of other uses for levitation too but beds are first priority, before it rains.]
