If only it were like a vacation, but that is neither here nor there. I merely hope it has you worried for my sake a little less. After all, I would be loathe to be yet another burden on your already busy self.

I have said it before, but you are truly too kind. I can see why you were chosen for the position.

Yesterday, I had noticed I was placed on something called a "dean's list", though I confess I have little idea what it means, or what I could have possibly be done to be on it.

In only a few days? That makes it all the more baffling.

If it is based on my prior schooling, then I suppose I could see that. Regardless, how they obtained that information is a mystery to I.
Oh well. If it is something of an honor, then I shall accept it with grace.

Well, you have naught to lose by trying, correct?

Generally speaking, it is always worth trying.
Though it may not always work out, surely there is something else you could have gained from the experience.

I'll admit I hadn't expected that response, but if that is what fulfills you, then you are correct.

No, not at all. I was thinking from a more academic perspective, such as knowledge or experience in a particular field.

It was one of my focuses back when I was still attending the Studium. There I had also specialized in aetherology, the study of arcane entities, and the magical arts.

To put it plainly, they are beings of magical origin.
I can use the example I am most familiar with: carbuncles are entities I oft employ in my own magicks. In short, they are aetherial constructs conjured forth from different types of gemstones.
