I think it doesn't hurt to learn whatever you can, even if it's not in your direct interests. Never know when it might come in handy. But I'm studying social justice & ethics and medical science.

But I always feel being recommended a book is a good way to get to know a little bit about someone. Maybe we trade recommendations directly sometime? I'd be interested in some of your recommendations about ethics in politics and law. This is another area of some passion for me, so perhaps we have a few academic interests in common.
I struggle with being picked apart and interrogated by strangers. Not my favorite activity. Better not to try to rush in there prying when there are other things to talk about, ja?
