Well, this year is a little unique, isn't it? Plus, I can't see you taking a class on paper airplanes or bees...

I'm saying that the classes you're stuck with aren't reflective of the average student experience. If anything, those would be the classes no one else wanted to enroll in, hence why they have seats available.

I dunno, I feel like a class where all you did was make paper airplanes and throw them [ that's not part of the class, maya ] would be pretty popular.

Is it really a waste to broaden your horizons a little?

If I can fit only so many courses into my schedule, then yes, I would rather focus on what's actually necessary and relevant for me. Not everyone has the luxury of time.

Well, I was thinking just shadowing a class.... not rearranging your entire schedule or anything.

If I have time to be doing that, then it's better spent on studying for my actual classes.

Say, Chad, what's your after school plan? Do you want to be go into law?

It's an option, although I wouldn't say I'm aiming for it in particular.

... There are a lot of problems in the world. Illnesses with no cure, inequality, prejudice... issues like that. If I can, I want to change those things.

A single life is short, but change can be lasting. It's a matter of what makes most sense.

I think even a single person can do a lot of good, if they put their mind to it. It's like a ripple effect, yanno? You start, and others will follow.

I suppose. I'm not really the kind of person other look to for inspiration, though.
