Well..... I don't know how to put this, but, uhm, the last place I was at, everything that happened was basically foretold in a story written by some mysterious recluse in a creepy tower. So.... seeing this, I can't help but wonder if some kind of similar magic exists. What do you think?

Well, I thought the same! Magic doesn't exist in my world, after all. [ spirit channeling is different ]

Could you tell me more about this... recluse in a tower? Did they just make some very lucky guesses?

To be honest, I don't know much about him... but I don't think that's it. There was like, literally a parade where the knights were throwing parts of the story out.... it was about, um, witches... and then witches and witch trials happened.

... He also wrote about, um, something bad happening to a man I was with... and me.... and those things came true, too.

What an interesting power of foresight. But I don’t know if such a gift exists in this world - or if it does then I’m not personally familiar with it.

Well, there do seem to be a lot of mysteries cropping up, huh? Maybe... something like this could explain one of them.
