There are two teams with nine players. One team bats which is the offense, and the other team plays on the field which is the defense. The offense's goal is to get players to run around three bases and return to home plate, the place they started batting. The defense's goal is to keep that from happening by getting players out.
If three batters get called out, the teams switch places. But if the batter hits the ball, they have to be tagged out while running to each base.
It's easier to understand when you see it played. You should go watch the team practice one day. You have to trust your teammates, yeah. It's important.
Thank you, that fills in some gaps in my knowledge.
I would like to see a game before the one I'm playing in. Do you think there's any way for that to happen? Or is Caiman's the only game that's been arranged?
If there's anything I can help you with to keep things in balance, please let me know. I'm not really familiar with what goes into running a club, but even so.

You have to go to the baseball field in the evening when they're there.

If you aren't playing baseball, now, what do you do between classes? Besides homework, of course.

I'll be doing anime club and fencing club when they start up again next week. Right now, I'm busy with Dorm Head work, class, and studying.

Won't you be busy with two clubs?

It's extra work, but the clubs don't meet every day. I can drop one.

Hopefully you'll be able to make time for both.

Anime Club isn't too difficult. I don't oversee the fencing one. If you like combat sports, though, you can join.
