Mm... That isn't too surprising. I've heard the same from other people who have any sort of ability that an average living human doesn't seem capable of possessing, more or less. How strange, though...

Yes... The amount of mental flexibility I've seen displayed since arriving here has been - disconcerting, to say the least. When you can't even trust your own recollection of things or opinions or way of thinking, it's beyond unpleasant.
