SUMMER COMMON ROOM - WEEK 1

The common room is as bright and open as the rest of the dorm. Beanbag chairs and even more hammocks are situated around for any of your resting needs, because who needs couches? There are a few blankets on the couch just for comfort, but the temperature is never cold enough to need them because of chill. There's also an absurd amount of pillows.

The walls are decorated with paintings that are either modern art pieces or done by kindergarteners. There are also photographs tacked onto the walls as well, of seemingly random things like a vase of flowers, a mailbox, a bird on a tree branch. The photos are less about grand views and feels more like someone testing out a camera.

On a table is a welcome basket.

In the common room, there's a door that leads to what can only be described as an Occult Room for some strange reason. Unlike the rest of the dorm, this room is dimly lit and is crowded with items—a skeleton that may or may not be real, taxidermy animals, really creepy looking dolls, an actual coffin, etc. On a table to the side is a Ouija board, a few tarot decks, and crystal ball.

[Well, first thing they'll notice on the table is more tea. There is truly so much tea in this dorm guys, I cannot stress this enough.

Besides that, there are also goody bags filled with candy alongside it. Anything from lollipops, to mini Snickers, to those candy that you only ever see on Halloween. There's at least one bag for each student, as well as a note tucked into each one:

And hey, all of the candy is safe! Uh, kind of. None of it is cursed, but every now and then for some reason a Kit Kat is extremely spicy, or a lollipop tastes like sushi? Who ordered these. ]

[ Mabel is here and...slapping her notebook against the table like a gavel. She looks deadly serious. ]

Order, order! Hear ye, hear ye! I call this official, unofficial meeting of the summer dorm to order!

First of all...I made refreshments! Help yourselves! [ She grins widely at everyone and gestures to a pitcher full of...something? It's a horrifically bright salmon color, looking as though it's almost glowing. Inside are some of the lollipops and chocolate candies that were on the table previously. And also some old dried fruit rinds that look like they may have come from the garbage. And some hair clips.

Beside the pitcher is a couple of highlighters, broken apart and leaking. But that's irrelevant, probably. ]

Second of all... [ slams her hands down on the table like she's an ace attorney and narrows her eyes. ] If we're gonna win the dorm wars, we gotta get serious about it. We're in the lead right now, but we can't let our guard down! So! To make it official and bring us all together, I made us all dorm war cards! To certify that we're all part of this squadron together!

[ She hands cards out. They are all prefilled, save for the signature field of course, and look something like this--but adjusted, of course, for your character's stats and picture. ]

[ Looking at the pink glowing drink with a look of horror, before trying to school his expression. Taking the card to inspect it. ]

Oh this looks pretty good. You're quite talented.

[ He. Will avoid the drink, but will look at his card. ]

Thank you for the card. [ A nod. ] I don't even know how we are in the lead... Is it because of Mandricardo?

[ shrugs with an "I dunno!" noise ]

No idea! Maybe we did all the tasks extra good? Either way, we need to stay in the lead!

byleth puts down the drink, a troubled look on her face, and starts going over the card.

A dorm wars membership card!! So we all know who our allies are, and what we have to put on the line to win this thing!

Wow, you're quite the artist! [ :3 ] We're going to kick butt at this dorm war thing. With a team like us, how could we lose?

YEAH! [ she fistbumps with a glass of Mabel Juice, sending the neon horror drink flying and splashing a lil. ] We're gonna kick all the other dorms' butts!

I knew I could get all your info down right on the first try!

W1 FRIDAY, POST-INVESTIGATION

[when there's a number of people in the dorm, byleth will loudly bang a spoon against her name-labelled mug for attention.]

I think it is about time we have a dormitory meeting, and talk about safety.

[she has a pretty serious look on her face. things are, unfortunately, taking the worst-case scenario route.]

If you do not have weapon training, I highly recommend you start attending the classes Nier and I are running.

If you do, please stay on your guard, and keep your training up.

... We should also discuss how many vouchers we have in total, what we would like to use them on—if we want to make that a group effort.

Agreed.

I have four.

I spoke to Viola, and she confirmed that, while medical kits usually cost ten, they can be bargained as low as eight. All items have a plus or minus of two vouchers.

...I had three, but I used them and a voucher I borrowed from Mandricardo to get burn ointment for Alphinaud and the others yesterday, so I'm all out.

[momming]

I'd also be happy to offer basic first aid, for those who don't have it.

[ as she sits there and looks quietly devastated ]

...Claude and Sakyou both showed me how to use a bow last week, so I've been practicing with that...

And I knew some self-defense already, but... It can't hurt to learn more. I'll be at your next class.

i didn't mean for those to rhyme and i don't have the energy to make any more of them so

She's drawn "war paint" on her face in pen and has her hands on her hips, dead serious. ]

And more importantly: we need to booby trap the dorm. They can't keep sneaking in to kidnap or kill us if they can't even get inside of here!

W1 Sunday, Post-Execution

[ Hi, guys. Otome didn't necessarily call for a meeting, she just so happens to be sitting here and looking vaguely distressed and if anyone wants to also come sit and be vaguely distressed, this is a great place to be!! ]

Now we know, I suppose... that there's nothing guaranteed that the one voted for will be expelled. Just so long as someone is removed...

[ She sounds very tired. ]

[ Nier is just here, quiet... We are unhappy here. ]

[ Alphinaud is also here, sitting solemnly. Cupped in his hands, he has tea—he always does, but damn it all, sometimes you really need it. ]

Indeed. Should we have found the one who truly did it... It could have meant they would walk free, while an innocent is...
