[Sieghart follows at the back of the group as the rear guard when an insect buzzes near him. He backhands it with a scowl. Waterlogged and aching as he is, he has little left in the way of patience. His uneven steps are wary still, however, and the traipse through the jungle yields him no further injuries.
His eyes widen when he hears the voices. Caution clamps down on the impulse to rush in, but the other two have already gone before he can so much as tell them to wait. He stays behind to shout:]
Stop!
[But perhaps it's too late. Perhaps what they've chosen is the correct course of action. There's no way to know and that's what concerns him.
