Nier's dead, and in the distance they can hear the sound of the barbecue and all of the remaining guests. At the very least, if they want a getaway without going through the backyard, they can leave through the front. Kon is right, the gas is still on.

It's funny. No one really questions where they went, because a lot of the guests ran away, so it's safe to assume that those four did as well. Sadly, not everyone made it. The blast got everyone who was close to the house, as well as anyone still inside. A part of the other house next to it also got hit.
Luckily, theirs is fine. Their house will always stand tall.
