In the common room, the walls have been painted with photo-like pictures of forests and lakes, and spread across the ceiling is a depiction of the night sky. One wall is lined with bookcases, the books ranging from fiction to non-fiction as well used course textbooks. More bookcases have been used to section off one corner for a study area, with a desk and chair provided.

Elsewhere, there are a few couches (one looks as though it doesn't quite belong) and chairs, most seated around a coffee table and with throw blankets tossed over them if you need the extra warmth. On the table is a bowl of healthy and semi-healthy snacks, regularly stocked. (Nearby is a garbage can.)

This week, it looks like things are getting into the holiday spirit.

Past an entrance in the common room, a mini coffeehouse has been set up, with express machines for those who just want their coffee now and slightly more advanced equipment for aficionados. It offers a variety of strength levels and flavors to accommodate tastes all across the spectrum, along with a teapot and packets of caffeinated and non-caffeinated tea for those who prefer a different drink. There's a sink if you want to use your own mug, but otherwise, disposable cups are provided for you to use.

Pasted on the wall by the coffee machines is a detailed but clear handwritten guide on how to use said machines, complete with illustrations. There are also cute little doodles of Spring Dorm residents using the machines and drinking coffee, though they look as though they were done by someone else.

That there are potentially at least two separate categories of people acting on Thursdays to kill. Those working together like Byleth-dono and Rupert, and individuals who are influenced into it in some way.

... Is that so. And no further details on that?

...as far as we know, they may have their minds altered in some way to make this happen.

As for the other information I was shown, it was various scenarios being described with blank spaces for the names. Interchangeable. One of them was describing a murder, but not one we've seen happen.

One of them? What about the other scenarios?

They were-- well, one was about two people getting into a bake-off for a job at the bakery while a third sabotaged them both. One was about a promposal setting a bystander on fire. All of them were about something going wrong in some way, but only one included an actual death.

So it doesn't seem like the info is focused on death, necessarily. [...] If you can get a copy, I'd like to see it.

And this is just one group's, right?

It is, yes. I didn't get a chance to ask after the other group just yet.

If we can get a hold of the other group's, it'd help in confirming what the common thread behind all the scenarios is.

I'm fairly sure I was sent this as a distraction from trying to check on someone, so I suppose it depends on who you ask.

... But yeah, that checks out... with some of them.

Not much beyond the fact that those influenced may be targeted at random, and that it would likely be impossible for them to tell that anything is wrong until after the trial has ended.

Hm... but it might be possible for them to say something at some point?

It might be; I don't know the exact details.

It'd be ideal, if that's the case. At least then, there could be a way for the info to spread.

Yes - that's a priority, given what it could mean.

[That random people could just start Snappin and Murderin. Granted that's already a risk with this powderkeg collection of people!!!]

... We're getting answers, slowly. We'll have to keep at it.
