Good day. They say that idle hands are the devil's playthings, don't they? So if you'd be kind enough to entertain me, please gather at the "Bakery" at dusk.

No one is in the halls as the two of them creep to the "Bakery".

Before they knock, the door will open before their knuckles so much as touch against the surface of the door. The room is filled with the comforting and warm aroma of assorted baked goods, along with the occasional stray scent of something that doesn't belong - is that hot sauce? A table has been set off to the side, topped off with an elegant tablecloth and a vase full of fresh flowers that certainly aren't there during business hours. The table is set for teatime with a kettle full of perfectly steeped tea, dainty containers of sugar and milk, and a small tower filled with sweets this week. A lot of them look handmade!

In addition, there appears to be a few items handwritten on fine stationary in curling calligraphy, though it appears a bit shaky in sections. For your use, there also appears to be a pen, a highlighter, and a small pad of sticky notes.

» Members of the Honor Society have the following responsibilities: conduct searches for killers, assist others in completing their Extra Credit Assignments, and encouraging the exchange of vouchers for goods and services on campus.

» Each week, the Honor Society must agree upon one person to conduct a search on. They will be able to know if this person has killed, if they possess an additional role, and receive a list of every person they have conversed with over the past week.

» Members of the Honor Society will be expected to report upon their progress of assisting others with Extra Credit. If Members of the Honor Society have successfully assisted others, they will be able to receive one voucher themselves as well as additional information gleaned by the Society Director.

» Of course, the greatest organizations are meant to grow and evolve. Some weeks, you will be able to select provide a list of three to four additional candidates of who you would like to invite to join the Honor Society. Viola will approve one person's membership, limitations and growth pending.

» Outside of the Honor Society, you may not express your membership to anyone. Each week, one person outside of the Honor Society may be made aware of its existence and its membership. You must all agree on this person before telling them. However should that number be broken, grave consequences will follow.

And you're not going to like this, but I think it's most likely to have been someone from Winter initially. Because you ending up outside is total luck, so timeline wise, they'd have needed to find you first, grab the chainsaw and possibly a shirt in Winter, come back out, and then find and chase Sieghart around half of campus before finally killing him. But Sieghart dropped his phone somewhere around Spring dorm.

I'm going to not like it no matter which dorm it is, man. People are dying. [ simply ] Winter dorm is a group of misfits that got close and defensive of one another fast, and we're prone to closing ranks - but even with the probability that at least one murderer is being forced to do it, through enacting the role they've been assigned, we need to know the truth.

If it's someone in Winter, someone besides Rupert after he was caught, then I'm not going to ask we ignore the possibility. It's unfair to the people that have died and are going to.

Rupert confirmed to me-- and others-- that he was responsible for Bradley and Lan Wangji and had no idea what happened to Sieghart. That last one might not entirely be accurate for a different reason, but that's not relevant to choosing a target. We need someone strong who could've feasibly stolen Denji's chainsaw and fought Sieghart.

... Which hardly narrows it down enough for us. We need another approach to this, yet I realize that is easier said than done.

Yeah. The hint we got wasn't for that murder, so there's no help on that front, either.

Not at all. I fear we may have reached our dead end on this one. We have only suspicions, so if we do not decide to aim for locating a role– [ points down below, i'm just gonna save us threadjacking even more ] –we can, at the very least, confirm the innocence of one—or, if we get lucky, find Sieghart's killer.

anyways. ] If you want to narrow it down from Winter, that's half the dorm. Adora, Beau, Crow, Dimitri, Kainé. I could, if I could use both hands - and even then it'd be the same as with Ichiro and Catra, the fighting styles don't mesh with how he was attacked.

Narrowing it down further, Adora, Beau, and Dimitri don't know jack about chainsaws. Meaning they wouldn't be able to engage it properly.

So... Crow or Kaine, maybe?

You said you had a source for information, right? Do you mind sharing who? The fact is, our target can be either a murderer or someone we suspect of having a role-- either one would be a hit for us. If we don't have a clear enough view of a potential killer, maybe we should think of someone who's suspicious for a different kind of reason.

Possibly, if you wanted to take a look at them. I know Crow a little better than I do Kainé, but she's hard to get close to. They're both pretty competent fighters, have a lot of skills and classes that fall in line with combatants, and are fairly strong, on top of that.

And I know Rita was suspicious of Adora on Saturday, before you managed to catch Rupert slipping, and if you wanted to crosscheck her still I would say go for it. I won't pretend I'm not biased? But she's a shit liar, so she would have to be compelled to not crack the moment we started looking at her for doing something. [ ... ] Not that that isn't something we should definitely consider keeping an eye out for, though, considering the aspect of acting out roles.

But sorry - I don't have one, single source? People come and tell me things, so I can't give you a source in the traditional sense. All of Winter shares what they learn whether it's bought, brought from Viola, or experienced in some way. Sakyou and Catra told me about their field trips. Viola herself has let me bounce things off of her and answered questions I've had.

I'll be honest. A lot of my suspicions about Adora came from what I know about her and Otome. It was Otome I was the most suspicious of, and a lot of that had to do with... well, her role, and some things she told me in private, and... something that happened last week.

[so, mostly things she couldn't blab about in a public trial.]

... But after all that went down, I decided to tell Otome about my role and have a frank talk with her face-to-face. We cleared up some things. I don't particularly suspect her anymore... or Adora, by extension.

Yeah, I heard that's a long story? That I'll ask about once we get the choice picked out.

But good to know that we can at least... [ hand wobble ] Narrow things down more in Winter, with that, I guess.

I want to know, too. [ he might not have known (or...liked...) sieghart, but that doesn't mean he likes the hanging thread. or thinks murder is okay. ] I'm just looking at all possibilities right now. I don't think we've got any clearer a lead on someone with a potential role anyway.
