Good day. They say that idle hands are the devil's playthings, don't they? So if you'd be kind enough to entertain me, please gather at the "Bakery" at dusk.

No one is in the halls as the two of them creep to the "Bakery".

Before they knock, the door will open before their knuckles so much as touch against the surface of the door. The room is filled with the comforting and warm aroma of assorted baked goods, along with the occasional stray scent of something that doesn't belong - is that hot sauce? A table has been set off to the side, topped off with an elegant tablecloth and a vase full of fresh flowers that certainly aren't there during business hours. The table is set for teatime with a kettle full of perfectly steeped tea, dainty containers of sugar and milk, and a small tower filled with sweets this week. A lot of them look handmade!

In addition, there appears to be a few items handwritten on fine stationary in curling calligraphy, though it appears a bit shaky in sections. For your use, there also appears to be a pen, a highlighter, and a small pad of sticky notes.

» Members of the Honor Society have the following responsibilities: conduct searches for killers, assist others in completing their Extra Credit Assignments, and encouraging the exchange of vouchers for goods and services on campus.

» Each week, the Honor Society must agree upon one person to conduct a search on. They will be able to know if this person has killed, if they possess an additional role, and receive a list of every person they have conversed with over the past week.

» Members of the Honor Society will be expected to report upon their progress of assisting others with Extra Credit. If Members of the Honor Society have successfully assisted others, they will be able to receive one voucher themselves as well as additional information gleaned by the Society Director.

» Of course, the greatest organizations are meant to grow and evolve. Some weeks, you will be able to select provide a list of three to four additional candidates of who you would like to invite to join the Honor Society. Viola will approve one person's membership, limitations and growth pending.

» Outside of the Honor Society, you may not express your membership to anyone. Each week, one person outside of the Honor Society may be made aware of its existence and its membership. You must all agree on this person before telling them. However should that number be broken, grave consequences will follow.

What's the long story with Otome-sensei?

When we found out that she had a role, Yamato went to talk to her the next week. He revealed his own role, though he kept me and Alphinaud a secret. She couldn't say anything about what she's doing, but... it sounded like she knew something about what happened to Lan Wangji.

The next day, all three of us woke up with our voices gone. We couldn't speak for the whole morning. When we asked Viola about it, she told us our rule had been broken; the one where we can only tell one person per week. None of us told an extra person, so that meant Otome told someone.

Fun and terrible. It's like sensei and Adora being punished for voting for themselves the first trial, but punishes us as a collective.

[ great. ]

Well, that's all the more encouragement to not say anything, I suppose - do you know if she was punished for it, as well, or did she get off scott free for it?

We're the only ones who get punished. And... it's all of us together, even though only Yamato was exposed.

I confronted her about it after the trial, and... I guess she didn't realize she'd broken the rule, or that there had been consequences for it.

All for one and one for all, united we stand divided we fall.

[ tsk ]

A little surprising that she didn't even think of it, considering she's in her own activities "role." [ damn sensei ] But at least it was done early, so now we know definitively to stay quiet.

We'll have to be extra careful about choosing who to tell this week... if we even want to choose anyone.

Ultimately other people being in the know might help us out, but... Considering what we know of how murderers don't exactly get much choice in the matter, it's difficult to say. If we do tell someone, we should decide for sure around Sunday.

... In this case, because of the power she's got, I think Beau would be a good choice, just so we can coordinate with her if we find anything. But ... I also think she'd listen to Kon or myself if we asked her to do something without needing too many details.

Back when Manwol was voted for, [ he's jiggling his leg under the table, bringing that up ] Beau and I talked about collaborating on our powers once I was able to get mine back. She... also told me that this was kind of part of her job. Back home, the organization she's with, they're tasked with rooting out corruption.

If we asked for her help, with or without telling her about the Society, she'd give it for sure.

Beau was also on our short list of potential candidates to recruit last week. So yeah, I guess I could approve of her.

Yamato or I could talk to her, if that's the path we take. She does already know a lot of the things I do, and she gets information from other dorms through Caleb and Molly, since they're all from Exandria.

Giving her a like, an actual and more narrowed down idea of information to look for with what we have access to would probably help a ton.

[ to expand a bit; ]

She said she couldn't tell me anything about her role at all or else there'd be punishment, and that she knew who killed Lan Wangji but couldn't tell me who or her reasoning. We're pretty sure the person she told was her activities partner, at least, but... what that actually is? I don't have a clue.

[ NEAT. he hates it. ]

We're meant to search for killers, so I wonder what part they play... [ hm - looking down at the number of people she's spoken to, and who that is, tapping his pen on his notebook ] I suppose that's a lot of theorizing just as much as it is everything else.

Yeah. And there's no telling if any of the names on that list are her potential partner, since that's from the first week we were all here. Rita and I only knew the second. [ aka week 1 ]
