Good day. They say that idle hands are the devil's playthings, don't they? So if you'd be kind enough to entertain me, please gather at the "Bakery" at dusk.

No one is in the halls as the two of them creep to the "Bakery".

Before they knock, the door will open before their knuckles so much as touch against the surface of the door. The room is filled with the comforting and warm aroma of assorted baked goods, along with the occasional stray scent of something that doesn't belong - is that hot sauce? A table has been set off to the side, topped off with an elegant tablecloth and a vase full of fresh flowers that certainly aren't there during business hours. The table is set for teatime with a kettle full of perfectly steeped tea, dainty containers of sugar and milk, and a small tower filled with sweets this week. A lot of them look handmade!

In addition, there appears to be a few items handwritten on fine stationary in curling calligraphy, though it appears a bit shaky in sections. For your use, there also appears to be a pen, a highlighter, and a small pad of sticky notes.

» Members of the Honor Society have the following responsibilities: conduct searches for killers, assist others in completing their Extra Credit Assignments, and encouraging the exchange of vouchers for goods and services on campus.

» Each week, the Honor Society must agree upon one person to conduct a search on. They will be able to know if this person has killed, if they possess an additional role, and receive a list of every person they have conversed with over the past week.

» Members of the Honor Society will be expected to report upon their progress of assisting others with Extra Credit. If Members of the Honor Society have successfully assisted others, they will be able to receive one voucher themselves as well as additional information gleaned by the Society Director.

» Of course, the greatest organizations are meant to grow and evolve. Some weeks, you will be able to select provide a list of three to four additional candidates of who you would like to invite to join the Honor Society. Viola will approve one person's membership, limitations and growth pending.

» Outside of the Honor Society, you may not express your membership to anyone. Each week, one person outside of the Honor Society may be made aware of its existence and its membership. You must all agree on this person before telling them. However should that number be broken, grave consequences will follow.

If we are able to, at the very least, know what the evidence is ahead of time, it could be the difference in getting to the bottom of that particular case. It will not always work, I realize—all of us know what has happened come Friday morning, which means everyone will be on the search; not only us.

Nevertheless, that does not prevent us from asking those who have found aught, and compiling their findings.

It'd be nice if we could have some kind of hint, Thursday night, Friday morning. Make finding at least some piece of evidence easier. That'd probably be a voucher or coupon thing, though. [ tiredly ] But if we can prepare ourselves for collecting evidence, even if we don't know what it is until we find it... it might help. Take pictures of everything, grab some gloves out of the costume emporium before Thursday, maybe. Things like that?

Viola did tell us we could buy off of her at a discounted price for our job. [ taps the table in thought ] Maybe if we secure stuff in advance-- a fingerprinting kit on the chainsaw would've been useful, so we might as well get one now in case it comes up again.

[ ... hm? ]

A—fingerprinting kit? We could find that out? Truly?

[ once again, the ye olde is in awe ]

It doesn't work if they were wearing gloves or if they wiped it off, but...

But the possibility of narrowing it down is there. I say we go for it.

[ghoststrums]

Yeah. During trial itself, we can buy either an item or a hint, and as hard to interpret as those things are, the hints should still be able to help us narrow things down. I think they're worth it. If we grab items before that, then we can have access to both.

Indeed. I have vouchers to spare, so full glad I would be to contribute.

[ghoststrums]

Thanks, Alphinaud. I've ended up using a lot of mine on things so far...

Of course. I have regained the one thing I deemed of most import to have, and so I have little use for my vouchers otherwise. Should it help, I will do it.

[ he's writing on the sticky notes, not pulling them off yet. ]

That'd be good to have. Luminol spray, too, [ beat, then to himself: ] I wonder if I could make luminol in the STEM lab...

[ anyways ] I'd say an impression kit, or something like it, after the fiasco of us having to bite things - but that was inconclusive, and kind of useless for it.

[ghoststrums]

... I'm hoping we don't resort to biting again, too. [ tiredly. ] If we can afford a truth item-- powers can be expensive in one go, so maybe those would be cheaper? Not in the long run, but.

[ exhausted look at him with that ]

It'd help to be able to back Beau up on her punches. She gets a set minute per week, but if we can have a single-answer truth item or spell like I was able to use on Denji, it'd help narrow down the people that she'd be slugging.

[ghoststrums]

Fingerprinting kit, luminol, a truth item... [ he tilts his head ] What about something like a lie detector, or even something that could tell us how many culprits there are?

[ points at with his pen ]

Yes. Because we chased our asses with that goose clue, and the possibility that there was an accomplice. I want to know how many people are running around at night.

[ghoststrums]

Let's establish how much each of these should be and see what we can scrounge up for now. I'm sure if we talk about it with the group some people would be willing to pool their vouchers towards this as well. Like a... trial resource kit, or something.

Definitely. If the cost's right, especially with discounts, even just a handful of donations from each dorm would cover it probably.

Winter's probably going to have a follow-up talk about things this week, so I can see how many of them want to contribute to something like that. Most of the vouchers for the first aid kit came out of our pockets, so I don't imagine they wouldn't throw in for that kind of kit, too.

[ scribbles - and TRIAL RESOURCE KIT goes up, above BODY to branch their sticky notes downwards. ]

Mm. Fall wouldn't have a problem chipping in, too. If they ask about price and our discount [ which rita helpfully explained ] comes out, you think you could say you've haggled a deal with her? Since you're Winter, it's probably the more believable option out of all of us.

Oh, right, I asked about Luminol last week. Viola said the base price for a kit is 7, and she can get us one for 5. It's one use only, though.

Don't know about the other stuff, but you can probably expect similar prices.

I'll take one use only - that's still a use. Something that we can hopefully make some headway on if we need it.
