FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 4

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[ lux has no idea what ichinose is holding so she does not take any candy. ]

No, I don't think so.

Cast out into the woods by their parents, Hansel and Gretel left a trail of breadcrumbs behind them to mark the path they followed.

[It's fine. She will take Lux's hand and pass on the candies.]

Interesting story, right? If you wake up somewhere else, you should take a page out of their book.

I feel like you're trying to teach me something.

[ lux is just confused, but she takes the candies and can tell what they are now, so... she pops one into her mouth. ]

... I am. Ahaha, oh well, maybe I'm being paranoid and it won't matter at all. Just do me a favor and keep it in mind, yes? [Can't believe Lux's last meal is peppermint candy.] Do you want more? I have butterscotch, too.

[illuminance]

[ there's a weary gratitude, from lux. she doesn't eat anymore of the candy she's been given. ]

Butterscotch, please.

[She rummages through her pockets

and drops like five pieces of butterscotch in Lux's hand. Ta-daaaaa.]
