FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 4

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

Maybe I should be bringing a dog in instead.

...I did ask Riku about bringing a dog back a while ago.

[...shrug. the vibe is a little embarrassed now.]

[ is it a seeing eye dog thing. no yamato is just ... intrigued and trying to pretend he's not ]

I dunno, this was at winter formal so we didn't talk about it that much. It was just kind of a thought.

[ now he's really confused if it was Before but he just. hums a bit and pretends he isn't disappointed there isn't a dog here right now, leaning against taichi again ]

...Right. We probably shouldn't just take the animals anyway.

[yamato can lean and taichi's back to making sure they're both comfortable.]

They could come and go if they wanted to. It's not that big of a deal.

[ stop taunting him with a dog he can't have? he hums ]

It's fine. A cat's probably better for the dorm.

I'd mostly be worried about the dog on Thursdays since we couldn't let it out if it wanted to. But maybe if we took it out before the lockdown..?

The dogs here need a lot of space, we probably can't keep them inside that long.

[ stop!!!! he loves dogs this is just torture!!!!! ]

[that's all he says, but he's clearly Thinking.]

[...sighs. next week. yeah. they just have to...deal. yamato leans and taichi's keeping an arm around him so they're probably going to fall asleep like this aren't they.]
