In the common room, the walls have been painted with photo-like pictures of forests and lakes, and spread across the ceiling is a depiction of the night sky. One wall is lined with bookcases, the books ranging from fiction to non-fiction as well used course textbooks. More bookcases have been used to section off one corner for a study area, with a desk and chair provided.

Elsewhere, there are a few couches (one looks as though it doesn't quite belong) and chairs, most seated around a coffee table and with throw blankets tossed over them if you need the extra warmth. On the table is a bowl of healthy and semi-healthy snacks, regularly stocked. (Nearby is a garbage can.)

This week, there's something.

Past an entrance in the common room, a mini coffeehouse has been set up, with express machines for those who just want their coffee now and slightly more advanced equipment for aficionados. It offers a variety of strength levels and flavors to accommodate tastes all across the spectrum, along with a teapot and packets of caffeinated and non-caffeinated tea for those who prefer a different drink. There's a sink if you want to use your own mug, but otherwise, disposable cups are provided for you to use.

Pasted on the wall by the coffee machines is a detailed but clear handwritten guide on how to use said machines, complete with illustrations. There are also cute little doodles of Spring Dorm residents using the machines and drinking coffee, though they look as though they were done by someone else.

since he's presumably cleansed himself of sin his many bloodstains, another eye will be visible: carved into the back of his hand. he's probably just laying on the floor in agony since he can't lay on his stomach or his side. but he's fine.

[ he'd probably rather die tbh - but since he's been healed and he's not in nasty clothes anymore, he probably sounds more dramatic than he actually feels. ]

[MALIK your VERY BAD WEEK. Thinking about how last week he was like "well that's not so bad" and then he just goes and gets mauled...

But he'll be moving over soon enough, frowning and vibrating with Concerned Vibes.]

Has anyone offered you pain medication yet?

[The only person in this dorm who isn't a nerd about pain meds, damn... Sakyou will tear half the blister pack off to hand over! And go get him a mug of tea to take it with.]

[ UUGGGHH that means sitting up. but he'll do it. it's fine. he downs the pain meds and tea without much fuss. ]

Can I have them now? ...To have on hand for later. I won't take all of them now.

[There's a brief glance toward the other members of pain dorm here, but he'll nod and hand over the other part of the blister pack, too. He's saving a couple just in case anyone surprise needs any, but Malik can have the majority of the pack! i dont know how many doses it has left, normal blister pack amounts?? like 4 or 5 if you do 2 pills each]

I hope they do well for you. There are the baby aspirin as well, but I don't think they help as much...

Why would anyone need baby asprin? I'm not a baby.

That's the only type of pain medication freely available... I don't have any more beyond that, for now.

It works somewhat, in any case. It's just a lower dose, meant to be safer for young children to take.

...Then that means taking more would be the same as a regular dose?

Mmm...You should probably ask someone better versed in medicine before doing that.

I don't know how soon Otome will be able to speak to me, trusting she was healed as well.

There are others who are familiar with modern-day medicines as well. Shinonome-san likely knows. Perhaps Hugo...? Maya?

I doubt any of the others would ask you to explain, either, if you said that you didn't wish to speak of it. They only need to tell you how much baby aspirin you can safely take.

[oh boy. she still can't talk much, really, but malik absolutely gets some guilty vibes and an apologetic look from her.
