GRAVEYARD...... 2!

students in time out: 16
It's a little hard to wake up when the melody that drifts into your ears is so comforting that it'd be so much simpler to stay asleep. Maybe everything that you remember last - the cold seeping into your fingertips, the pain of injury, or the darkness creeping into your vision - will just be parts of a bad dream.
But it's not.
When you wake up, it's probably a little disorienting - you have to push off a blanket and rise from this nice comfortable mat on the floor. Seems like you were all curled up for nap time. Literally. The room that you're in has furniture meant for small humans, children as some might call them, and everything is soft and plush to the touch with rounded corners. Blocks with the alphabet etched onto them, coloring books and crayons, and even a rocking horse dot the room to really give it that childish charm. If you can think of a child-safe toy, it's probably in one of the baskets that line the shelves of the room!
Around the room they'll find baby monitors that broadcast the antics of the living. Hopefully that doesn't feel creepy.
There is a yard outside through the glass doors, but it currently seems to be locked - and the glass won't break no matter how hard you try. There's a large pink door that feels enormous, ten times as tall as you, on one side of the room, but there's no way through that either. At the very top, you might see a directory sign that says: TO ADMINISTRATION BUILDING.
Huh.
Well... for now, get comfortable. It looks like you might be here a while.

WEEK 5 UPDATES
WEEK 6 UPDATES
WEEK 6 UPDATES
On Monday morning, a tune chimes. Principal Bear comes in, quite pleased and he grows out a positive, "We found one of my keys!"
In the daycare itself, one new location has opened in response to the summer heat: water play area with a glorious slide and an inflatable pool. There are also a few kiddie pools around, but. Come on. You know you wanna go.
In the lobby of the Admin Building, there is also the next floor of the administration building has also been unlocked - and it seems like there's a lot to go through. The staircase will allow you into the third floor now, though you may have to watch your step.
Now do you remember how part of the second floor seemed to be fading out of existence - mostly just lines rather than any solid ground? Well... this entire floor is like that - a sketched out space that doesn't seem to adhere to the rules of reality. When you step out onto the floor, it will feel solid, but your eyes will have trouble comprehending it as anything real. It feels... unfinished.
Right across from the elevator, there will be some now familiar writing on the wall:
Though there will be a door to another room - it reads Student Records. However that door is locked, and similarly can't be opened. However when you peer in through the window, you'll be able to make out the shape of a computer - maybe that's where you need to go to get your transcripts fixed. Almost there.
Finally, everyone in the Graveyard will be able to get back one canon power - or if they did not have any canon powers in their home, please feel free to reach out to the mods to ask about magic! These powers will come with a once a day cooldown where they can only be used for one hour max. Healing and mind altering powers cannot be regained.
LETTERS TO THE LIVING
Letter 1: To Mandricardo
You have a lot of beautiful curves, but my favorite will always be your smile.
It's such a shame that our thoughts are being shared and a class on pick-up lines have to happen while I can't be near you. It would have been fun seeing your expression and hearing your thoughts while we study some together. I'm actually a bit envious of everyone around you who can hear it all. Especially when it came to the conversation about certain kinks. Would you be into that kind of stuff? Being called daddy? I could give it a try since you are technically older than I am.
I'm a pretty selfish guy and want you to be selfish when it comes to me. All of my handholding, kisses, affection, and sappiness belong to just you. You're still special to me and you deserve the best.
I miss you every day. I never knew I could miss anyone as much as I miss you. I don't know if I'll be able to keep my hands off of you when we do meet up or want to ever let you go.
We're almost there. There's only one door standing between us and our goal. Assuming there isn't another lock keeping us away, we should be able to change it soon. Maybe we'll be seeing each other as soon as next week or a week after that. I'm going to knock on wood to make sure I didn't just jinx it, but I can't really wait.
Forever your impossible man,
Wang Lu
Letter 1: Mandricardo
I do like it. Nice to have something like this instead of looking at you guys through the monitor things. Seeing you guys smile like that is a good reminder this whole school campus thing ain’t all bad. Met you, right?
Tell Summer Tiny thanks.
Work hard on that side and I’ll work hard here, got it? To getting the hell outta here! We'll drink to that once we can see each other in person, yeah?
Absolutely do not let Riku go throwing himself into the villain role. He’s so fucking stubborn he might do it anyway.
Count on seeing me at the end of all this.
I’ll stay strong. Don’t falter.
Ask No Name about the Plot Hole, man and dog photo, and who Principal Bear is.
Bradley
Letter 2: Manwol
If you have time, ask it about who Principal Bear is.
Don’t let Riku throw himself into the villain role, he’s so fucking stubborn. I’d make a better one anyway.
Bradley
To: Maya
Letter 1: Taichi
You had better be in one piece to read this or I'm going to have rather severe words for whoever made it otherwise.
That being said! Your wedding was beautiful and I am very sad I missed it, but I now have your written word that I'm invited to the actual one, so please don't consider taking it back. It's too late now.
I'm doing fine here, I'm just very busy, in ways I didn't expect-- I'll tell you about it later. You and Yamato-kun take care of each other and I'll be back soon, all right?
... Please be safe. I do want to graduate right along with you.
Love,
Otome
To: Lucretia
Letter 2: Beau
In the event that you're experiencing some problematic thoughts and you're not sure who this is, my name is Otome. I do hope you're feeling better, but if you're not, that's fine. Please just stop reading here and take care of yourself.
If you know who I am, then...
I had a feeling you wouldn't heed my advice, anyway. And that's fine, because I don't think I can heed yours, either. I don't want to rest and wait for you to come to me, because you have far too much on your plate as it stands. I, and the rest of the people here, are going to claw our way back very shortly and I think you'll just have to brace yourself for when that happens because we have a lot of hugging to catch up on. We're very close, I promise.
I've been watching these meetings and the girls really are stepping up, aren't they? I'd say they have some rather fascinating theories, but it's about what I'd expect from someone like Rita anyway (should we be congratulating her and Maya, by the way? It looks like something happened there)! Thank you also for looking after the boys, and don't worry about Tsuyukusa. I completely understood why he did what he did.
I miss you. Hopefully I'll be seeing you soon, whether you know me or not.
- Otome
Letter 1: To Sakyou
To Young Master Sakyou,
Thank you for your letter, and I apologize for the lack of courtesy in delaying a reply. We are limited in this method of communication, and I thought it best to prioritize information over sentiment.
Lila was able to convey our most important information to Young Master Claude. As of the writing of this letter, we have had no further "field trips". I fear it is too much to hope that it was a singular instance, and if so, it will likely occur whilst the expulsion is taking place. We will do what we can to inform you of the results as quickly as possible, should there truly be a second occurrence.
Regarding the current paths laid out before us, I believe many of us are in agreement with the rest of you. Neither a "sequel" nor a forced "villain" is ideal. I believe a viable alternative will be found, but I am afraid I have no guidance to offer in this matter. Deviating from set rules is an act to which I remain unaccustomed. Nonetheless, I trust those here to accept nothing less than complete victory.
I will write again, if I am able.
Lan Wangji
Letter 2: To Nier
Nier,
Did Lan Wangji pass on my message? I will admit, part of it was because I wanted to see how much I could get away with. The other part was to remind you of a better time. How have you been? Not having too much fun without me, right? We should get food together again, but let's skip the date part. Don't want to get you in trouble again.
Keep him safe for me. We're almost there, so it shouldn't be too much longer.
When Kon is in a better head space, let him know that I'll be expecting something new to try when I get back. Also let Mabel know we can plan a different prank out when I'm back.
-Wang Lu
P.S. Is cereal soup?
dimitri
Everyone here is really kind. It's not quite what I expected, but it's nice. But more importantly, I told you not to say stuff like that, didn't I? You didn't do anything to me. If anything, it was this place that did it, so you don't have to act like you need forgiveness or that you have to atone or anything. I mean, I won't say no to you working hard in general, but you could try to do it without the whole sense of guilt thing...?
We might not have known each other for very long before I got here, but you're important to me. I can tell how much you care about everyone and what happens to them. You're a good person. Everyone here knows that, and nobody is angry or upset with you, so you aren't allowed to be angry or upset at yourself. I'm going to have a lot more to say about it when I see you in person! But...
I realized I don't know for sure if you heard the last thing I tried to say to you. It was "thank you for being my friend". Nothing about that has changed.
- Rupert
P.S. Wait why did Kaine smother you??? Are you okay??? I have questions
P.P.S. Hahahaha foisted successfully
Letter 2: To Yamato
Young Master Yamato,
I trust that Young Master Nier spoke to you, as requested. I do not know if it was any use to you and Rita, but with the lack of unexpected arrivals, I will have faith that no harm was done.
Lila was able to convey our most important information to Young Master Claude. Should any of our number be sent on a second "field trip", it will likely occur during expulsion. We will remain vigilant. Additionally, we have tried to enter the room containing our "transcripts", to no avail. Unfortunately, I suspect this is dependent upon the bear--however, if the pattern holds, we may gain access within a few days.
Please give my regards to Young Master Taichi, and inform him that I will provide him with a detailed guide of study techniques upon our return.
I will write again, if I am able.
Lan Wangji

Haha, there's not too much else to do here, now that Crow, Aikawa, Bradley and I are back. But I do like talking to everyone! I tried to include more people this time, but I can still just send this to you. Sorry for making you deliver all these, but they're short at least. Tell Maya I really like her pictures and that I'll do the thing she asked me to, tell Ichiro I said thanks for passing the message along, tell Beau I did in fact pet Porridge for her, tell Mollymauk thanks for making sure to mention Lila a bunch and that I think she appreciates not being forgotten... I don't think I have enough space on this paper to give everyone personalized messages, but tell everyone in Winter that I'm thinking of them and that I'm excited to see them again. Oh - and that everyone who came over here last week is here and safe, too. Also, thank you for writing, too! It's nice to hear from you all.
Like I said last time - I'll definitely see you all soon. Looking forward to it.
- Rupert
P.S. Dimitri is still being stupid and I had a lot to say to him but please back me up and tell him to be kinder to himself
LETTER 1 - Nier
I think I’ve seen the portrait by now? It’s… well, I hope you guys enjoyed painting it. I think you got my good side. Not sure if Manwol delivered my message last week, but I guess it doesn’t matter, you’re getting a letter this time (and because I know Kainé is reading this, maybe even over your shoulder: hey. you have a way with words.)
We’re all… still here? I think you got most of the deets from Lila either way, via Claude. Figure I should mention though, the current working theory is this place might repossess the dorm heads to make our villains. I suggest working on a miracle, before that happens. And quickly.
(there are a couple of flowers taped to the letter. they are very small and baby.) Not quite one of your Lunar Tears, but we have a garden here? I thought about trying a flower crown but I’d have to tape it to the letter and I figure it’d just get destroyed, so… you get the basic edition.
- Crow.
Letter 2 - Kon
Pretty sure you’ve heard a lot of what’s going on here from Lila. We found a train, the voice is getting rude, the bear has STILL somehow not found all his keys, blah blah blah. And the whole part about us having to kill the villains to go home, as it’s our only way back.
I also heard you had a run in with Vio on … Sunday as well, I think? And I’m pretty sure it was you? Either way, I figure it’s best this goes to you. Iris seems fairly convinced this place is trying to regain control over them to make them the villains. It makes sense, but I’m not sure we have enough evidence to say for sure. Still, it’s worrying.
I’m not going to tip-toe around the topic here: she told me to kill her before she can hurt anyone, if it comes to that. I got her to agree that we’re going to do anything we can to stop that from happening, and it would be a last resort, but that’s what we’re working with here. And, before you ask, yeah I did agree. I don’t want to. Of course I don’t fucking want to. But I’m not enough of an ass to put my wants above something that clearly terrifies her. And the thought of being forced to hurt us does scare her. So here’s my pre-warning to you all — if we’re going to pull off a third path here, we’d better start hustling, and hustling hard.
We may still have our wishes too. If it comes to that. Not sure if I think this place is being shitty or sincere when it tells us we could pull off a sequel, but I’ve been around wide eyed idealists for so long at this point that I don’t think it’s impossible to try. I have enough faith in Class VII to fix what they have to back home, so I probably have a wish to burn at the end of all this.
Good luck.
- Crow
TO: MABEL PINES
Leo says hi. He says you should totally use your vouchers and fill up Claude's bed with a whole lot of those screaming rubber chickens.
You guys gotta stop thinking of me as the Caiman guy. He's gone. I'm not him. It's Aikawa, period, I'm a Sorcerer, I went to school in S. Zagan, always lived in the Sorcerer's World. Give up on the lizard, I don't know a damn thing about him or the people he knew. It's not a memory
fuckscrew thing either. I don't know you. I only sent stuff to be nice and so I'm not wasting opportunities.Be nice. To Viola, Luke, Chad, and Sally, too. They exist just as much as Iris, Riku, Hugo, and Annie do.
- A
★♡★♡★♡★ from Byleth I guess
TO: RITA MORDIO
You too. Stop thinking of me as the 'lizard', that's rude and diminutive but also, I'm not that guy. It's Aikawa. Just Aikawa.
Though speaking of, if to look for a villain to kill is what you need, there's a real easy answer to that. Sounds like only one person ever killed at this campus without being compelled to. Just saying.
Otherwise daycare says good job. And all that. Be nice to the dormheads, both versions of them. It's not their fault.

Letter #1 - Dimitri
Dear Dimitri,
I know how hard this must be for you to write, considering everything. If anyone is to be apologizing, it should be me. You've kept to your promise outstandingly. It's a worthy struggle, and I'm proud of you every day.
Your letter alone means so much.
There's been some mention of villains and sequels, neither of which being something any of us want. I hope none of us will be "cast" into roles against our will, least of all the dormitory heads.
However, whatever conclusion we draw to, I know we'll both do our best to fix what we can, and reunite both of our groups to a safe return. Let's show our words with actions.
Yours Sincerely,
Byleth Eisner
Letter #2 - Maya
Dear Maya,
Thank you for your spirited letter. I can almost hear you saying that I am the spirited one. Your drawings were very cute. I'm not very skilled at art myself, but I thought I'd try and sketch you from memory in return.
I hope you and Dimitri are having a lot of fun. I am proud of him for writing me on his own, which I think I have you to thank for. As always, you're doing a wonderful job, as well as being our meeting MVP. You're as bright as ever.
As for worry, I try not to... there's not much I can do from this side of things. But I also trust you, and know you'll do the right thing every time. Keep a watch on the dormitory leaders, in case the talk of them being "cast" as villains turns out to be true.
Keep a watch on Dimitri, too. I know I can trust you to cheer him up when he's down. :)
Sincerely,
Byleth Eisner
#1 - TO ICHIRO
Ichiro,
Hello! I hope you and everyone else are doing as well as you can with everything that's going on. There's a lot going on and everything sucks, but it's really easy to tell that you're all doing your best to keep going, and watching you guys work so hard makes it easier for us to believe that we'll be okay over here. So, thank you.
We're writing these a little earlier than last time. I'm not sure when you all are going to receive these, so if anything in any of the letters seems like it's out of date based on stuff you guys find out later on in the week, that might be why. I'm really sorry about that!
We just talked to Claude really recently so we don't really have any new information. One thing that didn't really come up is something Sieghart sort of touched on last week: we get items in exchange for doing that thing the rules say we shouldn't talk about. I don't know about everyone, but I know a couple of us are trying to do as much as possible in case we get anything that can be useful. Since some of the things we do can affect you guys, please don't overthink it if anything weird pops up!
[the rest of this is written in very small writing because there's only so much space on the page.]
I wish I had more useful stuff to tell you guys, but I don't. So I guess the best I can do right now is wish you well. Please thank Dimitri and Maya for their letters - I really appreciated them, and I'll do my best to do what they asked me to do. It's harder some days than others, but I swear I am trying.
I want to say hi to everyone else in your dorm, and to Hope, too but I'm running out of space. :( Do your best, guys! See you soon!
-Lila
#2 - TO ALPHINAUD
Alphinaud,
It's been a while, so I'm not really sure how to start this... but, hi! I know things are really tough over there, but I hope you've been taking care of yourself and letting others take care of you. I want to see you again when we get out of daycare, so you better stay safe!
We're writing a little earlier than we did last week. I'm not sure when you're going to get this, but if anything sounds out of date by the time you do, that's probably why. Sorry in advance if that's the case! We just talked to Claude really recently, so unfortunately we don't have much new information to give you.
I hope you'll show this letter to the rest of the dorm. Nier, Mabel - hello and thank you for the letters! They meant a lot to me. Mandricardo - I hope you're thinking better of yourself now that you've got someone who thinks the world of you! And I guess this is the place where I'm supposed to tell you to take good care of him, too, once you're reunited? But I'm sure I don't actually need to tell you that. Congratulations, by the way! Claude - thanks again for passing on what I had to say, and for joining up to keep Annie and everyone company!
[the rest of this is in much tinier writing because she's running out of space.]
I miss you all a lot, and I can't wait until we get out of this stupid daycare so we can all hang out again. We're doing everything we can on our end, and I know you guys are working super hard too. Sieghart mentioned in a letter to someone else that we get items for doing certain things instead of vouchers; some of us have been trying to collect them in case we get anything useful to use while we're trying to end this story, but some of the things we do end up on your end. So, if you see anything that's strange that's hard to explain with everything you guys have on your side, don't overthink it! It's just because we're trying to get out of this!
I wish I had more space to write, but I don't. There are so many things I want to say! Hopefully I'll be able to say them to your face soon.
-Lila
Letter 1: Taichi
You're still hanging in there, and I'm really proud of you for that, you know? You're doing a good job. I don't have any useful info to share that anyone else already hasn't shared, but I just wanted to send something anyway.
Good to see that you and Yamato are doing good. Catra and I are too, so... thanks. You give good advice. Glad to see you're taking it too.
Keep it up, okay?
