FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 5

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[he uses a paw to slap at yamato's hand before puppy teeth also bite him. like. lightly. don't be rude.

[ hey!!!! ]

Don't bite! What the hell... [ he tugs his hand back and bops the top of his snout. ] If you're going to be like this, at least be cute, not a pain.

[goalsides]

[...rolling on his back and flopping his head cutely?

he is clearly just mocking yamato at this point.]

[ghoststrums]

[ when is he not. god.

angrily pets his tummy because it's fluffy and there and he loves dogs, fuck you taichi ]

You're the worst.

[he uses both paws to wrap around yamato's wrist. he can pet the tum if he keeps brainstorming with him, those are the rules.]

[ HE'S BRAINSTORMING ON HIS OWN TAICHI IS A DOG :/ ]

I don't know how we'd get to the people who are outside the story, Taichi. We're stuck in this world right now, and we haven't been able to communicate outside of it.

[goalsides]

[fuck off he's trying. he turns, rolling to use a paw to paw at yamato's pocket. phone? phone doko?]

[ghoststrums]

[ yamato doesn't carry a lot of stuff so he figures he knows what taichi wants and takes out his phone ]

What?

[ ...sneaks a picture of pupchi while he's at it ]

[valid. but yamato has his phone and the dog noses at it. namely, the camera lens so yamato's also going to get a picture of a puppy nose blocking the picture. the idea is that if they can figure out a way to broadcast this show outside, they could reach other people. kind of like how everyone on earth could see their fights in the digital world.]

[ghoststrums]

[ that's fine he's not stopping at one puppy picture ]

The camera...? [ hm ] It's not like we ever broadcasted to another world on purpose before.

[goalsides]

[...there's a loud puppy sigh and then he just flops in yamato's lap.

he gives up. his brain is mush. the world is so cruel.]

[ghoststrums]

[ the world is cruel but puppies are cute, so yamato just sighs as well and goes back to tummy scritches. who's a good boy. who!!! it's not weird if taichi is a puppy. ]

[goalsides]

[it's a little weird that he's allowing this but also he's doge. he's fine with this, rolling a little and eventually settling to stay in yamato's lap and allow for pets and scritches. on the bright side they wouldn't get any further if taichi was a human either because what the fuck do they do with this information.

it's fine. pets only.]

[ghoststrums]

[ listen. if taichi wasn't letting himself be pet as a dog what would be the point. anyway instead of regularly worry cuddles now it's dog cuddles. what a thursday. ]

[okay but are they going upstairs at all or are we all sleeping downstairs, this is important.]

[ghoststrums]

[ there's not enough couches anymore and i put in a thing to steal the beds back so yes, eventually he will drag pupchi/chibe upstairs ]
