The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

It can't be all of us though, can it? [like that sounds bad actually.] They can't take all of us out in the next couple of weeks.

A fire during a trial, when we're all locked in the gym, would kill us all.

[Just. Pointing that out.]

Are you planning on lighting us all on fire anytime soon, Lalli?

[bro we are trying to stay somewhat positive here.]

No. Death by fire is miserable.

[Don't ask him how he knows that.]

...I'm not going to ask. I believe you, but I'm not going to ask.

Anyway I still don't think that's it. There has to be a different ending we don't know about yet.

[He'll just accept that first part yeah.]

It could be. We still have a couple weeks until the end of this farce of a school year, yes?

Two or three I think if I'm counting it out right. With the way we've been getting information, it's possible something big will show up before the end.

So we watch closely to see what happens. Alright.

[He can accept this timeline. Even if he's pretty sure they will all die eventually, dying while struggling to escape seems like a good way to go.]
