FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 5

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

I think a death has to occur every week. Something about the rules of this place. So... maybe they're stalling until they-- or we-- can find a way around it.

What if we just not kill anyone for a week and see what happens?

I think if that was an option they'd have tried that already.

Oh, that's right. I meant to ask... Riku already got you the lamb chops and everything, so did you want that again? Since this week's closer to your real birthday, right?

I guess? But no big surprises or anything. Just a dinner.

[ghoststrums]

Obviously. That's why I'm asking. [ how would it be a surprise!! lalli!!! ] But if you want different food, you can ask. Kon's not the only cook here.

I know, plenty of people cook. Why are you bringing Kon up?

[ghoststrums]

I know he cooks on request. I don't really bother, but I'm offering it now.

[ it's not even a gay thing, ]

[He's still a little confused, but he's not going to turn down food. It must be for a something something, he figures.]
