FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 5

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[On Wednesday, Fall Dorm will return from the mini-event to find a loaf of bread nailed to their front door.

Inside, Fall Dorm appears to be untouched from the morning. However, when the residents of Suite #1 go into their rooms and try to lie down on their beds, they will find the beds are just an illusion (said illusion will dispel after an hour). The actual beds are missing, and instead that area is covered in many soft loaves of bread. The residents of Suite #2 will find that their bunk bed is also an illusion (again, lasting an hour), and where the bed once stood are many loaves of bread.]

Inside Fall Dorm Common Room, a cow suddenly appears. Around its neck is a 3D printed sign that says Get Good.]

Do cows eat bread? I thought they only ate grass...unless we cover the bread with grass.

It's sort of just standing there waiting for us, so maybe? [hm...] I'm just wondering if it'll fit through the door again.

[there is a scream and a loud bread-thunk that comes from suite #1,

then Manwol comes hobbling out of the room, holding her ribs. there is crust in her hair.]
