In the common room, the walls have been painted with photo-like pictures of forests and lakes, and spread across the ceiling is a depiction of the night sky. One wall is lined with bookcases, the books ranging from fiction to non-fiction as well used course textbooks. More bookcases have been used to section off one corner for a study area, with a desk and chair provided.

Elsewhere, there are a few couches (one looks as though it doesn't quite belong) and chairs, most seated around a coffee table and with throw blankets tossed over them if you need the extra warmth. On the table is a bowl of healthy and semi-healthy snacks, regularly stocked. (Nearby is a garbage can.)

This week, there's something.

Past an entrance in the common room, a mini coffeehouse has been set up, with express machines for those who just want their coffee now and slightly more advanced equipment for aficionados. It offers a variety of strength levels and flavors to accommodate tastes all across the spectrum, along with a teapot and packets of caffeinated and non-caffeinated tea for those who prefer a different drink. There's a sink if you want to use your own mug, but otherwise, disposable cups are provided for you to use.

Pasted on the wall by the coffee machines is a detailed but clear handwritten guide on how to use said machines, complete with illustrations. There are also cute little doodles of Spring Dorm residents using the machines and drinking coffee, though they look as though they were done by someone else.

• A tarot card, unfinished. Each half of the card depicts one half of Sieghart's sword, split apart. The portion where the names of each side seem blank but (Mentor?) is written very lightly in pencil along one half.
• A portrait of all of the original Spring Dorm, Chad and Sieghart and Taichi all included, hanging out in the common room. Everyone is either smiling or laughing, excluding Chad, but he's drawn in a way where you could maybe assume there is a little quirk of his mouth there. Something is written on the back, if you look.
• A selection of white and blue wildflowers from the flower field plus dill and mint from the greenhouse, all bound together with twine.]

W6 MONDAY - GROUP TEXT

[hey, here's a group text! it's bad!]

Hugo's gone. I texted him about a voucher purchase and he's not himself.

All the other dorm heads are having occasional relapses. It's happened to Iris three times now. And it's getting worse each time.

Sometimes they can be snapped out of it by reminding them of the things that are important to them, in their real lives. I don't know enough about Hugo, but if anyone knows what that could be for him, you might wanna share. Or go yell it in his face right now. Preferably both.

he told me had a relapse last night when he was alone

but... he was normal with me..... when we talked

he has a brother he cares about a lot

he wants to make the world a better place

and i think he cares about us a lot even if he won't admit it

We thought on Sunday that it might be tied to buying the information, but it looks like that alone wasn't enough to keep this from happening. If there's a trigger, we don't know it yet.

Please just... keep as much of an eye out as possible. If we can identify anything that causes this to happen, we need to know to avoid it.

Anyway, Sakyou is once again taking on the mantle as the most healed person in this cursed fuckin house to take care of their newly returned. He's got snacks! He's got tea! He has blankets and pillows which he's carefully padded their couchies with!! He will be yalls one-night butler, okay, even if he's gently simmering about the fact that 1) Rita finally got got and 2) MALIK GOT GOT AGAIN??? IT'S BEEN TWO WEEKS. STOP THIS.]

If anyone needs pain medication, please let me know.

[malik's got one couch, and rita's got another. she's lounging with her upper body propped against the armrest (with blankets and cushions, thank you sakyou), keeping her broken leg straight. she's changed her clothes since coming back, and most of her injuries aren't immediately visible.

she seems... okay? she even nibbles on some of those provided snacks. though she keeps giving the others in the room long, thoughtful looks... literally all of you, for different reasons.]
