SPRUMMER COMMON ROOM - WEEK 6

common rooms.
The Summer common room is as bright and open as the rest of the dorm. Beanbag chairs and even more hammocks are situated around for any of your resting needs, because who needs couches? There are a few blankets on the couch just for comfort, but the temperature is never cold enough to need them because of chill. There's also an absurd amount of pillows.
The walls are decorated with paintings that are either modern art pieces or done by kindergarteners. There are also photographs tacked onto the walls as well, of seemingly random things like a vase of flowers, a mailbox, a bird on a tree branch. The photos are less about grand views and feels more like someone testing out a camera.
In the Spring common room, the walls have been painted with photo-like pictures of forests and lakes, and spread across the ceiling is a depiction of the night sky. One wall is lined with bookcases, the books ranging from fiction to non-fiction as well used course textbooks. More bookcases have been used to section off one corner for a study area, with a desk and chair provided.
Elsewhere, there are a few couches (one looks as though it doesn't quite belong) and chairs, most seated around a coffee table and with throw blankets tossed over them if you need the extra warmth. On the table is a bowl of healthy and semi-healthy snacks, regularly stocked. (Nearby is a garbage can.)
specialty room.
The specialty room is an underground tunnel. The tunnel connects the Spring Dorm to the Summer Dorm. It's neatly paved, and there is enough room for everyone to walk through it comfortably. You can vibe in here.
Please use this as an open post for members of Summer Dorm and Spring Dorm. You may post top-levels whenever you'd like and go wild. The tunnel has a door at either end, and they can only be opened and closed by members of the respective dorm on the other end (aka if Spring Dorm has their door locked, Summers cannot enter Spring Dorm, etc.) They can still hang out in the tunnel though. The doors are locked automatically during curfew and cannot be opened. Also, the actual specialty rooms are still locked to dorms so don't share those.

Are you feeling like yourself again?

[He smiles as the other approaches.]
Yeah. I'm back to myself.

Good, I'm glad. [That was so worrisome...] —Have you ever been to our dorm before?

[And a beat. That really was the worst if I worried everyone so much...]

I hope you enjoy it, then. It has a pleasant way of making you feel as though you were still outdoors, at times.

It does, it does. It's a really nice atmosphere...
[Pwetty decorations!!]

[SOME PEOPLE here are prickly punks about sharing space (Malik) but everyone else had been all thumbs up for the idea. Sakyou will definitely be moseying over to Summer side when he can, too! He does not wish to run into squirrels but it's a risk he'll take...]

Yeah, I think I will. I, um, hope you visit us too.

It looks very nice... [Just addressing his brainwave images, bless.] And of course I will. Why have this tunnel otherwise, yes?
no subject
[I keep forgetting about the thought thing!!!!!]
Oh, that's. Uh. Good! I'm glad.

I know - it's going to be quite an inconvenience, yes?
no subject
[Now he's getting blushy over being called cute! Terrible.]
Um. Yeah. I mean, the tunnel isn't! Neither is seein' you.

I'm glad that you think so. It already feels a little less lonely like this.
