SPRUMMER COMMON ROOM - WEEK 6

common rooms.
The Summer common room is as bright and open as the rest of the dorm. Beanbag chairs and even more hammocks are situated around for any of your resting needs, because who needs couches? There are a few blankets on the couch just for comfort, but the temperature is never cold enough to need them because of chill. There's also an absurd amount of pillows.
The walls are decorated with paintings that are either modern art pieces or done by kindergarteners. There are also photographs tacked onto the walls as well, of seemingly random things like a vase of flowers, a mailbox, a bird on a tree branch. The photos are less about grand views and feels more like someone testing out a camera.
In the Spring common room, the walls have been painted with photo-like pictures of forests and lakes, and spread across the ceiling is a depiction of the night sky. One wall is lined with bookcases, the books ranging from fiction to non-fiction as well used course textbooks. More bookcases have been used to section off one corner for a study area, with a desk and chair provided.
Elsewhere, there are a few couches (one looks as though it doesn't quite belong) and chairs, most seated around a coffee table and with throw blankets tossed over them if you need the extra warmth. On the table is a bowl of healthy and semi-healthy snacks, regularly stocked. (Nearby is a garbage can.)
specialty room.
The specialty room is an underground tunnel. The tunnel connects the Spring Dorm to the Summer Dorm. It's neatly paved, and there is enough room for everyone to walk through it comfortably. You can vibe in here.
Please use this as an open post for members of Summer Dorm and Spring Dorm. You may post top-levels whenever you'd like and go wild. The tunnel has a door at either end, and they can only be opened and closed by members of the respective dorm on the other end (aka if Spring Dorm has their door locked, Summers cannot enter Spring Dorm, etc.) They can still hang out in the tunnel though. The doors are locked automatically during curfew and cannot be opened. Also, the actual specialty rooms are still locked to dorms so don't share those.

Welcome back. It was so quiet without you here...

It's hard not to grow at least somewhat attached to those whose living quarters you share, I've found.
[It really is just like home.]
no subject
Yeah, especially when we're getting smaller... How're you feeling, by the way?
no subject
Fine? Ah - yes, after Saturday... [CLOSING HIS EYES INTERNALLY.] Fortunately it wore off by Sunday.
no subject
Ah, that's good. We wouldn't want to be distracted again this week.
no subject
Ah... [His internal thoughts just go ugh in a tone of heavy exasperation. HE HATED EVERYTHING ABOUT THAT.] Yes, that was certainly not what I wished to be spending trial doing.

[THEIR TRIPLE DECKER CURSES.]

I would appreciate not being viewed as capable by this thing, in that case.

I would prefer no one to have to deal with such nonsense in the first place, though I would rather it be me than another.
no subject
In any case, I'm glad you're feeling better now.

Thank you. It seems to have finally worn off for the other group, as well... The length of these effects seems to be growing, though.
[Said with a mild frown... He doesn't like that! Doesn't like those implications.]

I'm mostly worried about the dorm heads.
no subject
[It seems an overly-optimistic way of viewing this thing's actions.]

[And then they learn about the DISAPPEAR OR STAY HERE FOREVER clause for the villains or heroes, wowie!]
