SPRUMMER COMMON ROOM - WEEK 6

common rooms.
The Summer common room is as bright and open as the rest of the dorm. Beanbag chairs and even more hammocks are situated around for any of your resting needs, because who needs couches? There are a few blankets on the couch just for comfort, but the temperature is never cold enough to need them because of chill. There's also an absurd amount of pillows.
The walls are decorated with paintings that are either modern art pieces or done by kindergarteners. There are also photographs tacked onto the walls as well, of seemingly random things like a vase of flowers, a mailbox, a bird on a tree branch. The photos are less about grand views and feels more like someone testing out a camera.
In the Spring common room, the walls have been painted with photo-like pictures of forests and lakes, and spread across the ceiling is a depiction of the night sky. One wall is lined with bookcases, the books ranging from fiction to non-fiction as well used course textbooks. More bookcases have been used to section off one corner for a study area, with a desk and chair provided.
Elsewhere, there are a few couches (one looks as though it doesn't quite belong) and chairs, most seated around a coffee table and with throw blankets tossed over them if you need the extra warmth. On the table is a bowl of healthy and semi-healthy snacks, regularly stocked. (Nearby is a garbage can.)
specialty room.
The specialty room is an underground tunnel. The tunnel connects the Spring Dorm to the Summer Dorm. It's neatly paved, and there is enough room for everyone to walk through it comfortably. You can vibe in here.
Please use this as an open post for members of Summer Dorm and Spring Dorm. You may post top-levels whenever you'd like and go wild. The tunnel has a door at either end, and they can only be opened and closed by members of the respective dorm on the other end (aka if Spring Dorm has their door locked, Summers cannot enter Spring Dorm, etc.) They can still hang out in the tunnel though. The doors are locked automatically during curfew and cannot be opened. Also, the actual specialty rooms are still locked to dorms so don't share those.

Today we vibin' ]
no subject
He will see how this fine furry friend responds to pets along its back, in any case; careful at first, since he has no clue what the fck this thing is and doesn't know if it might react like a cat.]

Luckily, Sakyou is not dealing with a cat! If the way it chirps again and gently swishes its tails is anything to go by, this is nice. It's definitely getting cozy beside him. ]
no subject
Since it's lacking in the general swipesy-ness of cats and/or their fickle nature (so far) though, he will gladly accept it getting nice and cozy!! And continue to gently pet down its back, curiously touching one of its tails at one point. THE HECK IS THIS THING. He's making a mental note to go to Summer later and be like "who has the animal that isn't a lizard or pig and what is it".
Does it like under the chin scritches?? He will also try that...]
no subject
But oh my god, yes. Despite the fact that it has slipped into Spring to EAT ITS FOOD, it appears otherwise very well behaved! Perhaps it's trained well? ]
no subject
Anyway, more chin scritches? Absolutely that is a thing that's happening yes. Ear pets? Also happening! He will try to gently clean its little thieving mouth of any bits of snackies the next time he can get a look at its face, too.]
I hope that sort of food won't bother your stomach...

For the now, it's simply enjoying this wonderful, glorious time. When Sakyou tries to rub at its mouth, though, is when it takes its cue to shift around and climb into his lap. The thing is... it's definitely dog sized... and a bit too big for laps...
So. Enjoy that. ]

OH NO THOUGH. OH NO... Sakyou holds his hands up for a second like he does not know what to do with this but like, what's he gonna do?? Try to push this perfect friend away?? Absolutely not, no, only a MONSTER would do such a thing. Instead he will let this too-large creature just commandeer his entire lap and even shift his arms a little to try ensuring it won't go slipping off the side or something. This is fine.]
Hello to you too, I suppose. Goodness...
[He's just buried under dog-sized adorable animal companion now.]
