[Manwol can get Malik to safety without much trouble; this boss is now focused on Taichi and Rita.
Flinging the fireball gets it to stop charging its attack, throwing its head back with a scream... which means it's not really able to stop Taichi from cutting through the tops of its wings.
And, as we've established, a good hit on these can more or less do it-- but instead of simply dissolving into black smoke, it bursts in a flurry of feathers, leaving cuts over all four of them (though this volley of feathers won't take anything more from them.)
As this happens, somewhere else in this large complex... there's an ominous rumbling sound. It spreads, until the room they're in begins to shake, cracks forming in the walls that leak black smoke. Somewhere, something is pulling this place apart, and the smoke is thick, choking.
"Shit," Cam says, worriedly, "I don't know what this is-- is this place broken? I can't-- listen, not that I wanna be stuck here, but I don't think I'm gonna, like... live as a head, outside of whatever magic here's keeping me alive."]
[thank god for rita and taichi -- not the gods they fought, another one. no, thank RITA and TAICHI for destroying that winged monstrosity.
Manwol can't even mind the feathers that slash all across her face and chest -- she angles her body so she can take some of the brunt of feathers winging towards Malik,
But before she can shout at the others to see if they're okay -- the rumbling starts, and the shaking --]

[Manwol shrieks, because yaywon wants to bring cam back but does Manwol care?? NO!!! She's shaking, the poison makes her want to fold back up on the ground and like never move again, but she can't. they can't die here. she managed to get out last time, but where do they go now?]
[ manwol no don't save him let him get utterly destroyed. HE HURT YOUR FRIENDS. he gets hit by a couple but yeah wow don't really like that manwol is protecting him like this. hm. ]

[ Is that helpful? IS THAT ENOUGH? look, i realize that malik is bleeding pretty profusely from the leg since he got snapped by a crocodile-lion-hippo goddess and he's just kind of delirious, but he's trying to do his best. ]
[the good news for rita is that with the way she's holding taichi, most of her body is shielded from the feathers. some of them slice her arms, but she just pulls them in, gripping taichi even tighter. if she lets go, he'll fall.
she lowers the both of them down gently to the ground, though she lands with a pained grunt, given the state of her leg. she keeps a hand on taichi for support and looks over her shoulder in cam's general direction.]
Wh, what the hell, it's not like you can stay here!
[none of them can, in fact! she's looking for an exit, but...?]
[the good thing is that rita's behind him, so he's taking the brunt of the feathers to make sure she's protected which means there are now multiple cuts across his arms and his face. as they land on the ground he shifts his weight to be a crutch for her, trying to turn in the general direction of manwol and malik based on sound alone.]
The exit. Where the hell is the exit? [he assumes he can't find it because he can't see and instead coughs against the black smoke.]
None of us are gonna be alive if we don't move! [CAM WHAT GOOD ARE YOU?]
["If I knew how to get out of here, don't you think I would?! This isn't supposed to happen!"
He sounds kind of panicked, now. The smoke is so thick none of them can see.
For a minute, there's just darkness, before one final rumble as the ground shakes hard beneath their feet. They'll hear him say, "Sorry I couldn't-- help you guys out more." They hear two familiar voices scream in anger.
And then, there's light. A slight breeze.
They're laying sprawled in the same clearing they were in before entering Wonderland, but the building, the lights, the billboards-- they're all gone. A piece of paper flutters down to land next to them, but beyond that, they no longer have Sakyou's sword... or Cam, actually. Oh but Manwol will find her phone in a pocket of her outfit because that's game mechanics, babey.
The dirt path behind them leads back the way they originally came.]
