No one is in the halls as Nier creeps to the Student Health Service Office. The door opens, and Luke waves him inside.

There is a trendy plastic letter board standing up on the counter which reads:

DOCTOR WHO
● DOCTOR or WHO?
● DOCTOR will spare someone from execution on Sunday, but under certain conditions. WHO? will allow the removal of a single piece of evidence. If no evidence is known, use "wildcard" to make it random.
● This choice is only active during the current week.
● You have to pick one or the other (doctor or who), not both.
● Deadline is Tuesday, 6 PM.

[ At first, Nier is like... Yeah? Yeah. At least he isn't mad now, instead he shares weariness and irritation. ]

Right. It seems like that's a part of this week's curse or whatever people are calling these effects. It's invasive in a different way, but I prefer it over sharing memories.

[ But he's a blockhead that wears his heart on his sleeve. ]

[ Yeah, fondness is back. It is very annoying and 200% more obvious cause of emotionshare. ]

[UGH. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo. That's exactly the emotions Nier gets. A very embarrassed, teenage sort of petulance. His face really doesn't change. He's trying to keep cool!]

[ The emotions don't change even if Riku is blaring out moody sasuke vibes. ]

Heat crawls into his cheeks, and nothing but a bundle of scribbled embarrassment comes off him. The equivalent of a keysmash.

[ There's so much love and sadness mixed together in this chili's tonight and Nier tries his best to dispel some of the melancholy. ]

[ There's... Actually so much guilt it's suffocating, but also gratitude. ]

[Tch. His brows lower, both as a deadpan response to what Nier said, and as a curious pique at the wash of guilt.

Mm… I thought of it more that you would be good to her—and maybe you’d make me a better older brother.

[ Less guilt, more fond now. ]

[That sobers him slightly. The unfortunate part is he would. But he's not much different than Nier, so even though he would, and he'd try, his execution might not always be great. Is Nier's long con trying to set him up with his sister...?]

[He's probably made more family out of people who aren't related to him by blood. Now Nier is trying to headlock him into little brother. Is this a spider trick? Is Nier just Rui from Demon Slayer? So many questions.]

[ ...... no........... because nier refuses to let his sister get to know boys like that... it's canon. if there was ever any indication that could happen with riku he would disown his ass. He isn't forcing anything onto Riku. Riku is allowed to be who he is and accept what he wants. ]

Say whatever you want to say, even if it's nothing. Just remember you never know when you'll lose someone.

[ He pokes his forehead like Itachi did to Sasuke. This is my curse. ]

Right. I also wanted to ask about the note—the one about the recent field trips' documents eluding to something.

What's hilarious is the last phrase before he gets poked draws a clenched, painful sort of frustrated sorrow out of him. He reaches up to push the hand away, lacking any kind of energy for it.

His eyes finally lift again.]

It says "who" a lot on it and wasn't sure if it's supposed to be an indicator. Or maybe I'm just paranoid.

[ Though Nier hasn't even used who. Yet. ]

I don't know. I don't think it's related to that, if you're worried.

[As funny as it is for the feelings coming off him to to be so morose before, he now gets an air of an amused gremlin. Apparently, he thinks it's funny Nier is paranoid about something he doesn't think may be related.]

Who else would "who" be if not us? It's a bunch of weird scenarios. Sounds like a story to me.

[ Nier is blinking several times because RIKU is giving off GREMLINE vibes and this is so funny. Stop. Nier is actually paranoid for the stupidest things.

I was actually wondering if you guys have gone through anything in those scenarios in your scripted memories, too.
