(ROLE) INTERN
intern.
On Monday at 8PM, Claude receives an encrypted e-mail.

No one is in the halls as Claude creeps to the Library. As there were no further directions, they will have to walk around in confusion for a while before they find Sally in a secluded corner near the back. In front of her are two teas, and she'll push one towards you when she spots you.
On the table next to the cups, there are a few sheets of paper. On the top one, in purple gel pen ink, there seems to be something written.

INTERN
ยป You will have special power over the rest of the student body. This will allow you to create rules and obligations that the others will have to follow or face consequences.
ยป You may choose a rule or obligation that all of the student body will be subject to. A rule will be added to the student handbook, and if broken, the student will be given a punishment. An obligation is an effect that the students will be compelled to do. You can only choose one of the options each week.
ยป You may choose what day these things are applied. However, for rules, it cannot be added any later than Wednesday, or else it will roll over to the following week.
ยป You may also choose to give two students their own specific rule or obligation. You can give them either the same one or different ones, but you must choose between the two types.

[ she tilts her head ]
What do you mean? Are you psychic?
no subject
no subject
[ she shakes her head. ]
Thirteen. It was mental.
no subject
...
He had three extra toes?
no subject
[ toes and all. ]
Anyway, that woman obviously had a gift.
no subject
no subject
[ yes
yes they would ]
no subject
Or secretly evil. ]
To help their friends? Sure.
Speaking of which, do you want to go on a date with me?
no subject
but she blinks in surprise, and then nods her head in understanding. ]
Oh. Sure. That'll be fun.
no subject
My answer is a date with escape routes, by the way. What do you think that means?
no subject
[ anyway. ]
But somewhere outside then.
no subject
That's- no. I mean.
[ ... ]
I wouldn't try to escape if it were a real date with you.
no subject
this is like, weirdly endearing. ]
... right.
But, um. Outside is still a good option. Snow can really set a nice mood, I think.
no subject
Right. Can it? I'm not really used to the cold.
By the way, if I made an obligation that said—and this is totally unrelated to anything—"forget everything embarrassing about Claude von Riegan", would that work?
no subject
[ ANYWAY!!!
she tilts her head. ]
Hm, I dunno. That doesn't seem very fun, does it?
no subject
[ He thinks it would be very fun. ]
no subject
[ she does not wait for him to answer, and just keeps talking. ]
It feels a little more... human.
no subject
[ Anyway, ]
What did you mean by "people will do a lot for warmth"?
no subject
The cold is just a convenient way to get people a little... [ she slowly brings her hands together ] closer.
no subject
Should you be advertising your nefarious intentions to me? We're going on a date?
no subject
[ but she laughs. ]
I don't usually get cold anyway, so I couldn't use that as an excuse.
no subject
Cold-blooded, hm? I did notice that you're always chilly. [ hmm ] But all right, we go out, look at the snow...
[ he's never been on a date ]
Talk about our dreams?
no subject
[ but she seems more amused by that than anything. ]
But we can talk about out dream! Very romantic.
no subject
Glad you think so. And then what?
no subject
anyway ]
I think that depends on how well the date goes!
