No one is in the halls as Claude creeps to the Library. As there were no further directions, they will have to walk around in confusion for a while before they find Sally in a secluded corner near the back. In front of her are two teas, and she'll push one towards you when she spots you.

On the table next to the cups, there are a few sheets of paper. On the top one, in purple gel pen ink, there seems to be something written.

» You will have special power over the rest of the student body. This will allow you to create rules and obligations that the others will have to follow or face consequences.

» You may choose a rule or obligation that all of the student body will be subject to. A rule will be added to the student handbook, and if broken, the student will be given a punishment. An obligation is an effect that the students will be compelled to do. You can only choose one of the options each week.

» You may choose what day these things are applied. However, for rules, it cannot be added any later than Wednesday, or else it will roll over to the following week.

» You may also choose to give two students their own specific rule or obligation. You can give them either the same one or different ones, but you must choose between the two types.

Oh, that's not what I expected. I thought maybe... a bunny or a duck.

It reminds me of a friend of mine! So it wasn't really a favorite before...

[shaft]

[ Thinks about this. ]

[departea]

[ there's a laugh ]

Oh, no. A friend from home. A werewolf!

[shaft]

A were... [ god do they have werewolves in femblem ] What's that exactly?

[departea]

Well, on full moons you turn into a wolf... man. Thing. It happens if another werewolf bites or scratches you.

[shaft]

[ just like this week's effect... ]

That sounds like a lot of fun? I'd love to turn into a wyvern and fly around myself.

[departea]

Hm, well... it's not that great, I guess.

You don't really have any control of yourself at all.

[shaft]

... Oh. That seems like an unfair caveat to what is otherwise a very fun power.

[departea]

Yeah. My friend George really hates it. He and his gi-- our other friend, Nina, were actually trying to see if they could get rid of it through some experiment.

[ there's a pause. ]

... don't think it really worked. But I also wouldn't have met him if he wasn't a werewolf, so it's not all bad.

[shaft]

Hardship does have a way of introducing you to your greatest companions.

[ He smiles a little. ]

Case in point: this place.

[departea]

Who are your friends here then?

[ she's not surprised he has some she's just

genuinely curious as to who he will admit friendship about. ]

[shaft]

Well, you are. [ He's not that emotionally repressed!! ] Maya, Nier, Beau, Otome...

[departea]

[ SHE'S VERY PLEASED ]

Yeah! Friends.

[ stupid.

but she nods. ]

I'm glad everyone has each other, at least.

[shaft]

And you.

[ His expression softens a little. ]

Lots of people here care about you too.

[departea]

[ ...

she just leans over to pat him on the shoulder. ]

You're very sweet, Claude.

[shaft]

[ He smiles back at her! ]

It's nothing that you don't deserve.

[departea]

... I just want to enjoy all the good moments we have here. If I can make at least one person even a little happy in the midst of all this chaos, then...

I'd consider it a job well done.

[shaft]

I'd say that's already achieved. [ He yawns, sleepy. ] For the record, my favourite food is roasted pheasant.

[departea]

[ She pats him. ]

Thanks. Take a nap.

[shaft]

[ puts his head on the table and falls asleep ]
