FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 0

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

On one of the tables is a welcome basket.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

He does seem pretty clever. [and also someone who likes taking a lot of risks???] He's probably doing the exact same thing you're doing right now -- like checking everywhere for an exit.

It could be a good thing. If he catches the bear's attention, then that means he's closer to meeting the principal.

It's just as likely to mean he's on a watchlist.

That's true. Maybe you can try and supplant him? Be a good enough student to bump him off the list.

It's not like we know that's how he wound up on there in the first place.

Maybe, but Taichi's definitely not... the kind of student that normally winds up on a dean's list for that kind of reason...

He puts off work and doesn't pay attention.

Maybe that's because he has such an attentive friend who likes to worry a lot for him.
