The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

On one of the tables is a welcome basket.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[He glances at this girl hiding under the mask. He has kind of the hunched posture and caution at eye contact of a fairly shy person himself. He seems to look at her, assessing, for a long moment before speaking.]

Sure, maybe after some other introductions. Do you like cats?

[He's not really a hobo man; he's dressed for what looks like an outdoor camping expedition, but he's clean and put together. But the orange bengal cat around his neck, at her explanation, jumps down and runs over into her lap, acting cute and friendly like he wants to be pet.]

[ anyone over 20 is a strange (hobo) man tbh. especially the ones who look like they're... outdoors people. but who cares!! there's a(nother) cat!!! this is the best day ever- ]

So. . . this is Frumpkin, and I am Caleb Widogast.

[ don't mind while she immediately gets distracted by kitty. tum rubs for best baby in the midst of wiggling her fingers ]

I'm Futaba. And you are the best kitty....!

[That's okay. Being an emotional support cat is kind of Frumpkin's job. He will immediately let her pet him and play with him however she wants, purring and being especially cute.]

[He's just sort of waiting and letting this play out, since his goal of sending Frumpkin was just to put her more at ease. After a minute - ]

He's a good fellow to have around in a strange situation. If we're going to be here a little while, he can keep everyone here company from time to time.

He works hard, so he deserves to be pampered sometimes.
