In the common room, the walls have been painted with photo-like pictures of forests and lakes, and spread across the ceiling is a depiction of the night sky. One wall is lined with bookcases, the books ranging from fiction to non-fiction as well used course textbooks. More bookcases have been used to section off one corner for a study area, with a desk and chair provided.

Elsewhere, there are a few couches and chairs, most seated around a coffee table and with throw blankets tossed over them if you need the extra warmth. On the table is a bowl of healthy and semi-healthy snacks, regularly stocked. (Nearby is a garbage can.)

This week, there is a welcome basket near the bowl.

Past an entrance in the common room, a mini coffeehouse has been set up, with express machines for those who just want their coffee now and slightly more advanced equipment for aficionados. It offers a variety of strength levels and flavors to accommodate tastes all across the spectrum, along with a teapot and packets of caffeinated and non-caffeinated tea for those who prefer a different drink. There's a sink if you want to use your own mug, but otherwise, disposable cups are provided for you to use.

[Tsuyukusa, who was two busy arguing with Rita to notice this coming, his head whips around at the terrible noise of Molly yelling, but he does not have time to move before he's jostled onto the floor underneath table and tiefling.]

Wh-What the hell are you doing!?

[He's not responding, he's just holding his own horns. Continuing to sit on Tsuyukusa.]

[ Claude, who managed to escape unscathed, hurries over to where Molly is sitting on Tree, looking somewhat concerned and checking for blood. ]

[Still not moving. Doesn't seem like there's blood though.]

Fine, fine. Starting to think this place really has it out for me. Did I do something I don't remember that deserves this level of punishment? Fuck.

You do have terribly bad luck, but maybe you should get up before Tsuyukasa passes out.

[ He's going to try and help Molly up with a hand to his arm, peering at Tsuyukasa beneath him. You good, buddy... ]

... Wow. It's kind of impressive, how much this kind of thing keeps happening to you.

Anyway, looks like that window's made of stronger stuff than it looks. Were these dorms built to trap people in here like this...?

Or it's been an illusion this whole time.

[He's busy now, trying to fix the jewelry that's around his horns.]

I mean, kind of think this whole place is some sort of illusion.

It's one possibility. I mean, it would explain the weird looping trick when we try to leave.

Can't say I've got any idea how to dispel an illusion from the inside, though.

[it's going to take a minute bc she is presumably dealing with sakyou stabbing the windows first, but after a bit she shows up with a couple makeshift ice packs which i guess are in, like, whatever around the coffee station could hold some ice idk if we have baggies or what. it might be coffee filters and that's fine. anyway, she passes one to molly, the other one is in case tsuyukusa got bruised up by this slapstick incident.]

Here-- this should at least help a bit, in the absence of anything more effective.
