SPRINGLE - WEEK 0

common room.
In the common room, the walls have been painted with photo-like pictures of forests and lakes, and spread across the ceiling is a depiction of the night sky. One wall is lined with bookcases, the books ranging from fiction to non-fiction as well used course textbooks. More bookcases have been used to section off one corner for a study area, with a desk and chair provided.
Elsewhere, there are a few couches and chairs, most seated around a coffee table and with throw blankets tossed over them if you need the extra warmth. On the table is a bowl of healthy and semi-healthy snacks, regularly stocked. (Nearby is a garbage can.)
This week, there is a welcome basket near the bowl.
specialty room.
Past an entrance in the common room, a mini coffeehouse has been set up, with express machines for those who just want their coffee now and slightly more advanced equipment for aficionados. It offers a variety of strength levels and flavors to accommodate tastes all across the spectrum, along with a teapot and packets of caffeinated and non-caffeinated tea for those who prefer a different drink. There's a sink if you want to use your own mug, but otherwise, disposable cups are provided for you to use.
Please use this as an open post for members of Spring Dorm. You may post top-levels whenever you'd like and go wild. A new post will go up at the start of each week.

What the hell... my artes are sealed? Or something's interfering with magic, here...
Where are we, anyway!?
[she's giving him a sharp, pointed look, like she completely expects him to have the answer to that.]

So... what, we're both victims here? Ugh.

Not that I don't respect a little hit first, ask later get up and go, I am going to have to plead for my victimhood here, yes.
I've got absolutely no clue where here is. Or what here is? [Touching his nose.] You hit pretty hard. Impressive.

You look about half dead. Did our abductor do that to you?
[gesturing at his chest.]

[He . . . honestly doesn't seem that mad about it anymore. Blinking, and then looking down at his chest, pulling the shirt off of his stomach and inspecting the wound.]
Certainly don't remember it. Maybe, then?

[Rita looks over herself quickly, touching her hand to her limbs to check. Maybe she grappled with the kidnapper, too? Except...]
... Doesn't look like I have any injuries.

[Molly is sort of checking out the rest of himself too, digging in the pockets of his coat, checking his belt. Hands. Feet. Tail. Horns. All there!]

Are you missing stuff, too? 'Cause it sure looks like I've been robbed.
