SUMMER COMMON ROOM - WEEK 0

The common room is as bright and open as the rest of the dorm. Beanbag chairs and even more hammocks are situated around for any of your resting needs, because who needs couches? There are a few blankets on the couch just for comfort, but the temperature is never cold enough to need them because of chill. There's also an absurd amount of pillows.

The walls are decorated with paintings that are either modern art pieces or done by kindergarteners. There are also photographs tacked onto the walls as well, of seemingly random things like a vase of flowers, a mailbox, a bird on a tree branch. The photos are less about grand views and feels more like someone testing out a camera.

On a table is a welcome basket.

In the common room, there's a door that leads to what can only be described as an Occult Room for some strange reason. Unlike the rest of the dorm, this room is dimly lit and is crowded with items—a skeleton that may or may not be real, taxidermy animals, really creepy looking dolls, an actual coffin, etc. On a table to the side is a Ouija board, a few tarot decks, and crystal ball.

Yeah, as well as any of us can. Doesn't seem like the door wants to open.

No. [itchy. she really does want to just cut it.] It doesn't.

[and so they both just stand here, observing silently and angrily.]

[ They really are just here, watching, but... Nier is unfortunately a very emotional person deep down. ]

Want to hack at it, anyway?

[ Stress relief. ]

[...she shakes her head, a little reluctantly. almost like she wants to, but another part of her told off that part, and now she's not going to.]

It's okay to let loose sometimes. Your students aren't here and you're a student yourself.

[ Nier, a good boy, enabling bad behavior. ]

[she shakes her head again. none apeshitt. byleth isn't quite tired of being nice.

I'm surprised you passed on the opportunity yourself.

I'll get my turn when Catra is done.

[ Spoke too soon. He's definitely going to kick the door a bit. ]

[she nods, still content to watch

but her hands are folded over her chest, tightening.]

[ Byleth, it really seems like you need to unwind. Everyone's already trying to break out, so...

Nier lightly thwaps her with a small cushion. ]

she kicks the door with a boom sound.]

Oh, sorry for making you do that.

[ Absolves Byleth. She's still nice? She only kicked the door because he gently bopped with a cushion. ]

she gives him a small shove, light and playful.]
