ITS FINE he is also competitive and grins. his emotions are delighted and competitive and playful as he teases right back - ] Oooh, okay, you talk a big game, huh? Can you walk the walk?
[ and handing her the mario kart controller!!! let's fuckin go fam. i haven't decided who ichiro plays, probably mario or toad. who knows! ]
[iris picks a princess every time it's either peach or daisy or rosalina.
she's very good. she's memorized every shortcut in every route. she yeets herself off the course immediately just to make the difficult jumps and transitions. you can tell she's spent an awful lot of time playing this game,]
[ tournaments on tournaments!! for the record ichiro puts up a good fight because he also knows lots of these transitions and jumps and has also put a lot of time into playing mario kart so it is a good competitive race every time at least! he wins a couple!
but after best 2 out of 3 he comes out of it the overall loser and just whistles, long and low, dropping his head back. ]
Shit, that's the most challenge I've gotten out of that in years.
[she laughs at that and - honestly? her own feelings are similarly delighted. even with the peaks of frustration from the occasional loss, she seems very happy to even be getting a chance to play. there's some triumph on her end but mostly she's still very endeared and delighted.]
