How exactly does it work though? Do you just consciously decide you want to listen in on certain people?

Essentially, which is why it's not worth bothering with, even if I had any interest. I'm busy enough without dividing my attention like that.

Are you aware of what those coupons do? Or is it kind of "I have to guess for myself what I can do"?

I got a coupon for a basic elemental spell. I was curious if there were limits on that or if I had to take my chances. That's all.
