In general they're all rather relaxed on a day to day level. So I think they'd like something more... subtle.

I still think the dorm war thing is kinda dumb, so there's no reason not to look out for other people. But I'm sure you're doing fine. They seem to like you. Even the one who swapped out.

I wouldn't really say it's dumb. It's not that unusual for there to be competition in school, and it's not like there's a punishment for losing it.

No? [people dying is enough of a punishment, but also.] Usually the competition sticks to sports teams, not anything like this. Guess I'm just trying to understand the point still.

But pretty much, yes. They get points for participating and things, and at the end of the school year, whichever house has the most points wins.

For now...[suspiciously glaring at the table.] But you get my point. There was always something bad waiting for them at the end. Not the greatest example.

How can we keep people safer here? Any ideas?

Well, that's a difficult question, since we don't know what exactly is going on during Thursdays... my dorm has talked about setting up traps within the dorm itself, but if people are being brought outside, then that won't really do much, would it?

A killer returning to their own dorm would know how the traps were set up.

Rita and I had talked about trying to block our door from locking when I was in spring, but nothing worked. That's a problem though. The only thing would be setting a trap without telling anybody else, but then you have the problem that you might trap somebody who's trying to escape.

It's the way people are being taken out that bothers me more than people getting in, actually.

Well, that or it turns out that you decide to make a trap with someone, but the other person ends up being a killer.
