[ her expression falters a bit, like she's confused, but then beau says the last thing and it just smooths over into normal surprise. ]

beau doesn't seem to notice, though. instead, she tugs sally a little closer - she's sitting on the pool table, so she just shifts her legs apart to let sally stand there, puts her hands on sally's hips, and kisses her.
