[she shifts her bum arm a little bit, but only a little bit, because it's still very much broken]

How many vouchers to heal a broken arm?

8 for a one-time heal... but I can get it down to 6 for you. It'll mend it almost entirely then, it might just be sore for a bit.

[DW I GOT IT!! as soon as the exchange takes place, Catra gives her injured arm an experimental flex. she can feel the soreness in the bone, but. . . no sharp pains, no impossible movements]

[she slips the arm out of the sling and flexes it again, fingers curling into and out of a fist]

It's pretty impressive how you can do that so fast.

Right? I think that it's one of my favorite things about the Voucher system. I hate seeing you all as injured as you are.

I'll keep it in mind, for a "just in case" kind of situation.

[okay, so. this is more serious, so her ears droop a bit, smile fading]

You talked to Crow and Kon about. . . people having their memories rewritten, right?

[a beat]

And you're aware that it's possible that this happened to you?

[she tilts her head at this, nodding]

Well... theoretically, yes. I've had this conversation a few times with a few people in terms of my agency and the like - though I'm not sure I'd go so far as having my memories rewritten...

Everything in my head feels as though it's mine.

[supercatty]

[another nod, and she produces her phone, sliding it across the table so Viola can see the MIND CONTROL, UNSUED coupon clearly]

It makes sense with a lot of things we've discovered so far. [tail flick] Like that one night when you and the other dorm heads "fell ill" and couldn't remember what had happened to you. Not to mention the supposed inaccuracy of those applications we've found.

So-- with your permission, I want to see if I can use this coupon to try and unlock any memories you might've had erased or rewritten.

[a pause]

[her eyes widen slowly as the request dawns on her - to see if she can have any memories uncovered? it's a little daunting, given how the coupon system is out of her hands. in a way, catra would be able to really inflict anything she'd like on her, and she wouldn't be able to fight it presumably.

so there is a beat of hesitation.

I'm going to trade it in for a "coupon that can restore rewritten memories." I don't know how powerful it'll be, or of it'll be permanent, or if it'll work at all.

But does that sound okay to you?
