I live in the dorm, yeah. We've just been busy. Probably will be all week. Why, looking for me?

I thought I would at least see you coming and going at some point, but I haven't seen you at all.

Worried I'm not real? You said you believed in magic. Maybe you magically missed me.

Kidding. I haven't been out much except for classes.

[silentscout]

You have to eat sometime. And I haven't seen you in classes either.

I'm there. Maybe we have different classes because you're older.

I get one of the other Dorm Heads to bring me something.

They put me in second grade so I don't know about that.

[dormheads]

Ouch. Did you fail a grade?

I stopped going?

Why?

[silentscout]

Because I started training to be a mage then. Grandma pulled me out of school to start my training.

[dormheads]

Oh, the magic thing. Are you a LARPer or a real mage?

[silentscout]

What is a LARPer?

That answers that. What kind of magic can you do?

I can hear the cries of Trolls and find them because of that, even if I can't see them.
I can also travel in the dreamworld and find other mages there.

[dormheads]

That's cool.

It'd be cool to be able to do magic for real. You could adventure wherever you want without anything holding you back.

[silentscout]

There's always something holding you back.
Family, friends, a job, something.

[dormheads]

I use to think that is all, I guess. But maybe none of that really holds you back actually. Maybe it's just yourself.

You don't have to give up your friends and family to see other places.

[silentscout]

I can't just leave this place and go see Onni. I'm trapped here.

[dormheads]

If you don't try to graduate, wouldn't you be holding yourself back technically?

[silentscout]

That's not the point. The point is that I can't just walk out and see anyone I want to. So you can't just wander wherever you want and see your family whenever.

Do you see YOUR family regularly?

[dormheads]

Not really. I see them when I go back home every summer.

[silentscout]

Is that why we didn't see you at first? You had gone home for summer?</font?

For me, yeah. I got back from the break.

[silentscout]

Is it weird that there are the four of you, and then forty of us saying that we shouldn't be here? If this is a school there should be a lot of people here, right?

[dormheads]

It's weird so many of you keep saying the same thing.

There's other people in our classes, though. We can only fit so many on campus in the dorms. This year was Dorm Wars, too. The principal wanted to make it as even as possible.
