his brow furrows as the voice continues, and he brings his free hand up to rub his temple a little. but that gesture is strange in and of itself, for a reason he doesn't get, and kon blows out a rush of air.
[Manwol's less forgiving about the Mall, not because it's a mall (surprisingly), but because that so-called momentary lapse in judgement even if it lasted for .5 seconds meant that Nier wanted to go against them. In some way? And there's nothing Manwol hates more than deception. Right?]
[ that uncertainty from nier certainly means that they have to do with him what they did with the others, but it's more a question of if they have the time for it. it's what's right, after all.

What the hell is tomorrow? [ the other three have nier handled, and he's got an escape route and/or further help from the outside blocked off. he'll deal with the phone. ] Did we have plans for tomorrow?
[ There's a pause, and then he lunges for the knife. More specifically, he's trying to tackle Alphinaud to the ground so that he can wrestle it from him. It's fine, he knows that he can't take all four of them out, but if he can only get rid of one that should be enough, right?
The voice responds, as if all the other chaos isn't happening. ]
not that he's surprised, but kon shoves the phone into his pocket - not even sure if he's hung up or not - as he books it towards his family. he'll head towards alphinaud's side of the attack, going to brace and support him without them causing even more noise. if he has to pull him back up to his feet and backpedal them away, he will. ]
Or not. Nier's face gets slashed, so hopefully no splatter landed on any of them. They all manage to get him down as he struggles against their hold. ]

[Manwol keeps holding Nier's hand as he bleeds to death. They say that the sensations you feel when you die are the ones that stay with you the most. Alphinaud may have driven the knife, but they're all responsible for what's happened here. She doesn't want Nier to forget who killed him. He's not allowed to forget. He should remember who killed him and why -- carry the sin of betrayal on his shoulders even onto the next life.

Manwol steps back and drops his hand, then looks at their probably bloodied??? clothes in dismay.]
Great. Now we're going to have to think of an excuse.
[ with a heavy sigh, as they watch nier's life leave, kon gives alphinaud's shoulder a squeeze and starts to disengage from him. there's blood - because there always is, but they're usually better prepared for that - and so much for them to have to deal with. ]
Yeah, we're off schedule. [ and for as flexible as he is, this is sloppy. damn. ] I got some gas going in the kitchen if we just want to call it a wash. Accidents happen every day at barbeques, a lot of unsupervised kids and bumping into things in kitchens and at the grill.
Nier's dead, and in the distance they can hear the sound of the barbecue and all of the remaining guests. At the very least, if they want a getaway without going through the backyard, they can leave through the front. Kon is right, the gas is still on.
[There's always blood, but he's never particularly minded that sort of thing. Sometimes keeping the family safe gets messy, it's a small price to pay for their safety.
He's strong enough to drag the body into the hole and dump it. No problems, no help needed.]
[Manwol looks annoyed because she got all dressed up for this barbecue and they made plans, but Alphinaud is already leaving and Bradley's just disposed of Nier so very efficiently and Kon's plan is the best one they have.
They don't have to dig or dismember or find any cheeky hiding places if they can just burn it all to the ground, right?]
