GRAVEYARD

students in time out: 10
It's a little hard to wake up when the melody that drifts into your ears is so comforting that it'd be so much simpler to stay asleep. Maybe everything that you remember last - the cold seeping into your fingertips, the pain of injury, or the darkness creeping into your vision - will just be parts of a bad dream.
But it's not.
When you wake up, it's probably a little disorienting - you have to push off a blanket and rise from this nice comfortable mat on the floor. Seems like you were all curled up for nap time. Literally. The room that you're in has furniture meant for small humans, children as some might call them, and everything is soft and plush to the touch with rounded corners. Blocks with the alphabet etched onto them, coloring books and crayons, and even a rocking horse dot the room to really give it that childish charm. If you can think of a child-safe toy, it's probably in one of the baskets that line the shelves of the room!
Around the room they'll find baby monitors that broadcast the antics of the living. Hopefully that doesn't feel creepy.
There is a yard outside through the glass doors, but it currently seems to be locked - and the glass won't break no matter how hard you try. There's a large pink door that feels enormous, ten times as tall as you, on one side of the room, but there's no way through that either. At the very top, you might see a directory sign that says: TO ADMINISTRATION BUILDING.
Huh.
Well... for now, get comfortable. It looks like you might be here a while.

...Maybe I’m wrong.

...Unless it was a crazy coincidence that they’re both listed, I’m going to assume it was Byleth and Luxanna who killed Crow.
no subject
...yeah, I'd assume that, too.
[oh and then there's this.]
Ah, with a footprint that matches her and her weapon coming up...

[she puts a hand on his shoulder]
...maybe they'll be so angry about Mollymauk that they'll be too focused on Caiman to put it together.

Ah...
[well it. looks like that hope of his is going to be dashed.]
no subject
...Maybe he'll lie for her.
no subject
...she's refusing to deny it. I think if he says his item excluded her, that'll just make people think he's covering for her.
no subject
This is - this place is so stupid!
no subject
oh, and the results just go out publicly.]
He won't even have the chance to lie. [...] Sorry, Rupert. I know this isn't how you wanted it to go.
no subject
[he takes a breath, though.]
But it wouldn't be okay if they voted out someone else who didn't do anything, either. I just - I don't know. It's this entire system, this entire set up is horrible.
no subject
...it really, really is.
no subject
What?
no subject
seeing rupert angry is weird?]
Rupert...?
no subject
no subject
[after all
rupert was a repeat killer. they caught him on his second attempt on someone's life. so maybe they think if a killer gets away with it, they won't stop.]
no subject
[aaaaaaaaa]
...It won't work, anyways. It has to not work.
no subject
[gently:]
It won't work. That would require them to cooperate, and, um.
[there is no way they're coordinating a tie in these conditions.]
no subject
[but he falls silent as caiman does his whole thing. after a long moment:]
...I don't even know what to say at this point.
no subject
no subject
So... Who are they going to vote for...?
no subject
...him, I think. They're going to want to keep Byleth alive to get answers out of her, probably.
